Abstrak

The purpose of this study is; (1) To describe the learning outcomes of students whose learning using ICT Learning strategy Start With A Questions better than on ICT learning outcomes of students who use the conventional method in class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Padang; (2) To see the learning outcome of students whose learning using ICT Learning strategy Start With A Questions better than on ICT learning outcomes of students who use the conventional method in class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Padang; This type of research used in this research is experimental research design Group Two Subjects Randomized pretest posttest. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 12 Padang on October 10 to November 18, 2016. The sampling technique in this study using simple random sampling. Research instrument in the form of test (essay) totaling 10 questions. To measure the normality, homogeneity, and hypotheses using SPSS version 16. After testing the hypothesis by using Independent Sample T Test conclusion that the result of learning using learning strategies Learning Questions Start with a better than learning outcomes using conventional learning. And from the analysis of the gain index data using t test so that it is concluded that students are learning to use learning strategies Learning Start With A Question equally increased student learning outcomes with the use of conventional learning.
