ALIH KODE GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA PADA KELAS VII DI SMP NEGERI 3 PADANG

ABSTRAK
This research aimed to describe the type of code and cause of the over code by teachers in the process of learning the Indonesian language at SMP Negeri 3 Padang. A theory that used in this research is a theory presented by Chaer and Agustina in 2004 about the type of over code and cause of the over code. This research is a qualitative research that produces descriptive data. The data collection was done by using a recording, which is recording a speech teacher in learning by using a tape recorder, transcribing the record in the form of writing, classifying speech based on object research. According to the analysis can be seen type over code that often used is Internal code that is the teacher used over code that goes between languages, as from Indonesia to Minangkabau or in dialect or vice versa. From the result can be concluded that the cause of the code by teachers in learning the Indonesian language that is use over code for change situation the third person that is student. Student who referred are not overall but one of student who his name was called, caused teachers who giving affirmation that student more responsive and understand that teacher are doing over code in the learning process. Change the situation in the classroom when teacher give explanation and give warning to the student so, that the transfer of the code on the teacher speech due to changes in the situation of the Informal to the Formal state, and change the topic that is the subject of teachers to student outside the subject matter presented on that day.
