Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe the type of cooperative learning model of spontaneous group discussion (SGD) on result of students’learning in subjects KKPI at SMK Padang Kartika 1-2 academic years 2016/2017 and saw an increase learning results through analysis of the gain. The method of this research was experiment. The population in this study was all students of grade X with total number of population was 170 students, the technique of selecting sample was random sampling technique. X.Akuntansi.1 was experimental class while X.ADP 2 was the control class. The instrumentation of this study was the result of learning test. Data analysis was performed with normality test, the similarity of average, homogeneity, and hypothesis with helped of SPSS software version 17.00. The results of research students in using Spontaneous Group Discussion model had completeness average 73.08% and students in using conventional teaching had average 50.00%, and the result of test hypothesis was 0.035 or <0.05 then analyzes gain with Sig, (2-tailed) was 0.026 or <0.05. So it can be described that (1).The results of the students’ learning in experimental class better than in control class. (2). There was an increaseof the result of student’ learning in experimental class by using Spontaneous Group Discussion model with students on control class in using conventional learning. The result of this study isthe application of cooperative learning Spontaneous Group Discussion model better than conventional learning.
