PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PKn MELALUI MODEL BEYOND CENTER AND CIRCLE TIME DI SDN 28 LUBUK ALUNG
Abstrak
The study was motivated by the low activity and learning outcomes of fourth grade students in learning civics. The purpose of research is to describe the increase in activity and student learning outcomes in learning civics method Beyond Center and Circle Time class IV. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Fourth grade students study the subject of as many as 12 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet teacher activity, student activity observation sheet, and test the cognitive learning (understanding) students. Based on the analysis of activity observation sheet asks students obtained an average in the first cycle is observed at the level of completeness 71.25 increase in cycle II, the average value becomes 83.32 by 83.32% level of completeness. On the affective outcomes of responsibility and discipline students obtained an average value in the first cycle is 71.66 with 71.66% completeness rate increased in the second cycle the average obtained by the mastery level of 86.10 with 86.10%. Further understanding of the cognitive achievement of students obtained an average value in the first cycle that the level of completeness 73.33, 58.33%, an increase in cycle II, the average value of understanding students' cognitive achievement that is 86.25 with the level of completeness 83.33 %. From these results it can be concluded that the Civics learning by using Beyond Center and Circle Time can increase the activity and student learning outcomes. From these results, the authors suggested that teachers can use Method Beyond Center and Circle Time to increase the activity and student learning outcomes.
