Peningkatan Aktivitas Belajar Siswa Kelas IV Pada Pembelajaran IPS Dengan Menggunakan Strategi Pembelajaran Metakognitif Di SDN 20 Berok Gunung Panggilun
Abstrak
The study was motivated by the low ability students in expression, complete the exercises and make inferences material, so that the low activity of the fourth grade students in social studies learning, this is caused by the teachers who tend to use the lecture method and the lack of giving guidance and motivation to students. The purpose of this study was to describe the general increase in activity in the fourth grade students using the Learning IPS metacognitive learning strategies in SDN 20 Berok Gunung Panggilun. This research is a classroom action research. The experiment was conducted in two cycles, one cycle of two meetings. Subjects of this study fourth grade students of SDN 20 Berok Gunung Panggilun. The research instrument is the observation sheet activities of teacher and student activity. Based on the results of the study, student activities expression cycle I obtained a 48 increase in the second cycle to 78, the activity of solving test cycle I obtained 58 increase in the second cycle to 78 and make inferences material cycle I obtained 53 increase in cycle II to 80 while the learning outcomes first cycle that a 55 increase to 75. Thus the student activity can be enhanced by metacognitive strategies.
