HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG MIKROBIOLOGI DAN SIKAP YANG BERKAITAN DENGAN KESEHATAN PADA SISWA KELAS X SMA SEMEN PADANG

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between knowledge of microbiology and health-related attitudes. The type of research is descriptive with a total population of 57 students of class X SMA Semen Padang in academic year 2016/2017. The research sample is the whole of the population. There are two variables in this study, knowledge of microbiology (X) as the independent variable and health-related attitudes (Y) as the dependented variable. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation formula. The correlation coefficient is r = 0.880. The research results could be concluded; (1) there is a correlation / relationship between knowledge of microbiology and health-related attitudes, (2) the relationship between knowledge of microbiology and health-related atttitudes is a significant relationship where knowledge can influence attitude formation. (3) In general, the level of knowledge about the microbiology of the respondents categorized "good" with an average of 77.2% and health-related attitudes categorized "good" with an average of 88.07%.
