PERAN KEPOLISIAN SEKTOR (POLSEK) RIMBO BUJANG KABUPATEN TEBO DALAM MENANGGULANGI PEREDARAN NARKOTIKA

Abstrak

Abstract This research is motivated on the increasingly widespread circulation of narcotics in District Rimbo Bujang Tebo. It is characterized by the increasing abuse of narcotics from year to year. Narcotics are not only circulating among the elite but has merembah kekalangan general public. The use of narcotics is not only done by adults but has spread to teenagers and children. This research aims: 1) To determine the role of the police in tackling Rimbo Bujang circulation of narcotics; 2) To know the process of investigating the case of the Police Narcotics conducted Rimbo Bujang; 3) To know the constraints faced by the police in the investigation. This type of research is qualitative. The instruments used were observation, interviews and document study. The results of this study show that: 1) The role of the police is not effective socialization is apparent from the widespread circulation of narcotics, this is due to lack of socialization scheduling conducted by the Police to the community and students. 2) The process of investigation carried out by forming the informant, the investigation is closed and open, seek information, gather information, and customize the information. 3) To constraint police have difficulty obtaining accurate information, people do not want to be involved in providing information and also in the process of investigation, narcotics users who have secured not want to cooperate, and also cost limitations in conducting the investigation. Keywords: Police, Investigation, Narcotics.
