Abstrak

This research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes for teachers only use the lecture method and does not involve students actively in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in mathematics through cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization in SDN 11 Mukomuko City. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects were fourth grade students of SDN 11 Mukomuko City amounting to 22 people. This research was conducted in two cycles. The research instrument used is the observation sheet activities of teacher and student learning outcomes test sheet. Based on research that has researchers carried out the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 59.09% increased in the second cycle to 73%. Thus, through a cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization can improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students in math at SDN 11 Mukomuko City. Researchers suggested that teachers can use cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) to improve student learning outcomes in learning mathematics.
