SCHOOL DROP OUT PHENOMENON IN YOUNG CHILDREN (CASE STUDY IN THE VILLAGE MUARA SEMERAH MUDIK)

This research is motivated by the problem of school dropouts who are found in the village of Muara Semerah MudikDistrict of Air Hangat Kerinci. The data I have found that as many as 26 teenagers drop out of school in 2015. Given the dropout is a very important issue to be addressed, therefore the researchers conducted a study that aims to see the extent to which environmental conditions of residence and juvenile delinquency affects the dropout phenomenon in Muara Semerah Mudik and then explained that efforts to address the phenomenon of school drop outs in the village of Muara Semerah Mudik District of Air Hangat Kerinci. The approach used in this study is a qualitative research method. Data collected through field observations, interviews with informants and documentation. The result showed that the condition of the neighborhood dropout and juvenile delinquency affects the dropout phenomenon that occurred in the village of Muara Semerah Mudik. Further efforts are acquired can be done to address the dropout, namely: First, to facilitate dropout by establishing a nature school. Second, establish learning centers teaching or CLC. Third, to enable study groups at the primary package A, package B group study of junior high and high school learning package equivalent C. And fourth, reviving religious activities in the neighborhood dropout.Keywords: Youth, Dropouts, Phenomenon
