Abstrak
In this study, the problem raised was the lack of ability to jump service men's volleyball athletes in high school N 2 Rod Cotton, a major problem in this study. Are there relationships explosive power arm muscles and leg muscle explosive power with the ability to jump service men volleyball athletes in SMAN 2 Rod Cotton South Pesisir regency. The purpose of this research is to know how to see how much explosive power arm muscles with the ability to jump service men's volleyball athletes in SMAN 2 Rod Cotton South Pesisir regency.
This research is classified in descriptive research with correlation. The population in this study of 40 people, which is composed of 25 athletes of male and 15 female athletes in SMA Negeri 2 Rod Cotton South Pesisir regency. The sample in this research is the male athlete are 25 people with purposive sampling technique sampling. This type of data is primary data and secondary data. The data collection is done by measuring the explosive bicep through tests Medicine Ball Shot Put or basketball and leg muscle explosive power through a test Vertical Jump. Furthermore, the ability of a test jump jump service with a service test.
From the results of research can be concluded that; 1) There is a relationship with the explosive power of the arm muscles volleyball athlete's ability to jump service men SMAN 2 Rod Cotton South Pesisir regency amounted to 16.3%. 2) There is a relationship explosive power leg muscle with the ability to jump service athletes volleyball son SMAN 2 Rod Cotton amounted to 26.5%, and 3) There is a relationship explosive power of muscles in your arms and explosive power leg muscle with the ability to jump service athletes volleyball son SMAN 2 Rod Cotton amounted to 42.6 %.
