PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA MELALUI PETA PIKIRAN SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 13 BALAI - BALAI KOTA PADANG PANJANG

Abstrak

The background study of reality in an elementary school that the process of learning science is often dominated by teachers as a source of information. Based on the experience of teaching investigators seen from the data daily quiz grades the first semester of the school year 2016-2017 found learning outcomes IPA is still low. The research objective was to describe Improved Learning Outcomes IPA Through Mind Maps on the cognitive views of knowledge and understanding of the students and the realm of Affective seen from the level of seriousness in work and courage to present the work through the Mind Map fifth grade students of SD Negeri 13 Hall-Hall Padang Panjang , The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. Based on the results of this research is that the results of student learning of cognitive average of 74.85 with the thoroughness of 63.64% in the first cycle, increased to 81.21 with the thoroughness of 81.82% in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes in the affective aspects of the seriousness of the work and the courage to present the work that is 73.86% in the first cycle increased to 82.01% in the second cycle. The final conclusion is that learning science through Mind maps can improve student learning outcomes in class V SDN. 13 Hall - City Hall Padang Panjang. Recommended to teachers in learning science through Mind maps can be used as a technique in teaching in elementary schools by taking into account time as efficiently as possible.
