This research is motivated by the lack of student interest in reading and mathematics learning outcomes of students who are still less than the KKM. The study aims to determine students' mathematics learning outcomes are learning to apply the method Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review And (SQ3R) by providing better Reward of mathematics learning outcomes of students who apply regular learning in class VIII SMP Kartika Padang 1-7 years 2016/2017 lesson. The sampling technique is done randomly chosen class is a class VIII_3 as an experimental class and class VIII_2 as the control class. Based on data analysis of both classes were normally distributed and homogeneous samples. Statistical tests were used to test the hypothesis is t-test. Hypothesis test results obtained = 2,02 dan = 1.62with α = 0:05 for  >  means rejected and H1 accepted. It can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students who apply Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review And (SQ3R) by administering Reward better than learning mathematics learning outcomes usual to apply the learning in class VIII SMP Kartika 1-7 Padang academic year 2016 / 2017.Keywords: Application SQ3R and Learning Result
