PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GAMBAR DALAM PENERAPAN METODE DISCOVERY UNTUK PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 7 MUARO BODI SIJUNJUNG
Abstrak
This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes IPA using discovery on the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 07 Muaro Bodi Sijunjung. The study consisted of two cycles each cycle consisting of three meetings includes four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. This research data in the form of information about the process and results of data obtained from the actions of observation and tests. The subjects were students of class IV of 20 people. Data analysis was performed using a model of qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed the students' learning activities ask at the first cycle increased 67.5% in the second cycle becomes 82.5%. Learning activities of students in answering the question in the first cycle of 50% increase in the second cycle to 72.5%. Activities of students in a discussion on the first cycle increased to 37.5% in the second cycle to 70%. The results of students in the first cycle of 20 students 14 have met the minimum completeness criteria with an average of 74.4 with a percentage of 70% completeness. The results of students in the second cycle with an average value of 88.65 with the percentage of completeness 95%, 19 students have met the minimum completeness criteria. It can be concluded from the science lesson by using the discovery method can increase the activity and learning outcomes fifth grade science students of SD Negeri 07 Muaro Bodi. Based on the research results suggested the elementary school teachers in order to familiarize learners to be active and creative thinking, so that it can improve student learning outcomes either by using the method of discovery. can be used on any other subject matter well to improve student learning outcomes
