Abstrak

This study aims to improve learning outcomes math class V students using cooperative learning model jigsaw in SD Negeri 11 Koto Baru Sijunjung. The study consisted of two cycles each cycle consisting of 2 meetings includes four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. This research data in the form of information about the process and results of data obtained from the actions of observation and tests. The subjects were fifth grade students numbering 16 people. Data analysis was performed using a model of qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results demonstrated student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 16 students. minimum completeness criteria with an average of 59,35%. The results of students in the second cycle with an average value of  who completed 87.5%. Based on the research results suggested the elementary school teachers in order to familiarize learners to be active and creative thinking, so that it can improve student learning outcomes one using cooperative learning model jigsaw.
