Abstrak

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of students' mathematics learning is still low. The study aims to determine the results of students' mathematics learning class VII SMP Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti Regency Solok whose learning implement cooperative learning techniques and exchanging greetings problem better than learning outcomes of students learning mathematics applying the usual learning. The sampling technique drawn randomly selected experimental class is class VIIb and selected control class is the class VIIa. Based on data analysis of both classes were normally distributed and homogeneous samples. Statistical tests were used to test the hypothesis is t-test. Hypothesis test results obtained  while        because , make  then the hypothesis is rejected, then accepted hypothesis is the hypothesis . Learning outcomes of students learning mathematics applying the model of cooperative learning techniques and exchanging greetings problem better than the results of students' mathematics learning is learning to apply the usual learning in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Lembah Gumanti Regency Solok.
