Results mathematics clas VII SMP N 29 Padang are still many under the Minimum Completeness Criteria. When learning takes place, there are still students who do not focus on learning and listening. One model of learning that can help students in learning is model cooperative learning type Prediction Guide. The purpose of thin research are: 1) Describe the development of the activity of students in mathematics learning in class VII SMP N 29 Padang for implementing model cooperative learning type Prediction Guide and  regular learning. 2) Determine the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics by implementing model cooperative type Prediction Guide and the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics by applying regular learning  in class VII SMP N 29 Padang. Type of research is experimental research. The population in this research is all class VII SMP N 29 Padang. Class VII.3 as an experimental class and class VII.1 as the control class. Mathematics learning activities of students in the experimental class and controlclass in general tend to increase. For the result of students mathematics learning in the class samples after an alysis of data obtained  = 5,16  and    = 1 obtained 0,01 < p < 0,025. Therefor is so H1 accepted. It can be concluded that the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics by implementing model cooperative tipe Prediction Guide is higher than the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics by applying the regular learning.
