The research is based on math scores for 79,41 % students below the minimum completeness criteria. Therefore, the learning process is still centered on the teacher so that students difficulties when given a problem associated with material being taught. Beside that,student do not do exercises because he is sure the answer is wrong. To solve this problem is using Team Asisted Individualization. The research hypotgesis is mathematics learning which apply equally well to the Team Asisted Individualization mathematics learning which apply the usual being. The purpose of this research is to know the results of applying mathematics learning Team Asisted Individualization better than the usual learning in grade eighth of Junior High School 3 Padang.This type of research is experimental.For sampling is random sampling technique was used with experimental class is VII.5,and the control class is VIII.2. Based on data analysis tcount= 0,7611 and ttable = 1,64 in confidence level of 95%,so that tcount<ttable.Therefore, Ho hypothesis is accepted,it’s means mathematics learning which apply Team Asisted Individualization same result with regular learning. Finally,theb researcher suggest that researchers can anticipate the problems that once investigators get  being repeated by subsequent researchers and Team Asisted Individualization type can improve learning at the school.
