Abstrak

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low results of social studies class V students of SD Negeri 09 2x11 Enam Lingkung. The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes IPS fifth grade students ofSD Negeri 09 2x11 Enam Lingkung using a model of Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. The data subject is a fifth grade students of SD Negeri 09 2x11 Enam Lingkung totaling 28 people. The research instrument used is the teacher activity observation sheet, affective domain assessment (Discipline and Responsibility) and cognitive assessment. Based on the results of cognitive assessment in the first cycle with the percentage of completeness 18.51% with an average of 43.70increase in cycle II with the percentage of completeness 76.92% with an average of80. Ratings affective on the ability of students Discipline and Responsibility cycle I with the percentage of completeness 63.18% increase in cycle II with an average percentage of 76.43% completeness. Meaningful indicators in this study was achieved by using model study of Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition in Social Science learning is progressing well. Based on the results of this study concluded that IPS learning through the model with the Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition can increase the activity and student learning outcomes in primary school class V at SD Negeri 09 2x11 Enam Lingkung.
