REVIEW OF MOTIVATION STUDENTS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTIONS IN CLASS X SMA Negeri 1 North and South Pagai LESSON YEAR 2015/2016
Abstrak
This study aims to determine how motivated the students in the selection of majors in class X SMA Negeri 1 North and South Pagai. There are two factors that affect motivation are factors Intrinsic and Extrinsic Factors. Motivating factor of two is comprised of four indicators which are indicators of students, parents, environment, and infrastructure. Technical analysis of the data used is the percentage of statistics. The population in this study were students of class X SMA N 1 North and South Pagai in the academic year 2015/2016, while the sampling technique is to use Stratified Proportional random sampling with a sample size of 60 students and data collection techniques used is by using questionnaires and documentation, The results showed that the level of student motivation Intrinsic Factor of indicators of students were found to (70.88%) and Extrinsic Factors of indicators Parents (66.72%), the environment (67.91%), means (65.66%). Then the percentage of the overall variable of the study reviews the motivation of students in the selection of majors in class X SMA Negeri 1 North and South Pagai in the school year 2015/2016 amounted to 68.79% with good criterion.
