Abstrak

The purpose of research is to describe the extent to which the relationship of students' perceptions of teacher competence on the results of study subjects KKPI in SMK 1 Padang. This research background backs on the values of students who still below the standard minimum completeness. This reinforces the notion of the relationship between students' perceptions of teacher competence on the results of study subjects KKPI. Efforts are being made is to see the extent to which the relationship between students' perceptions of teacher competence on the results of study subjects KKPI. This research is a descriptive correlational. A population of 98 people and a sample of 20 people. Samples using random sampling technique that is making members of the sample was randomly without regard to strata that exist in this population. Based on the discussion coefficient is positive learning outcome variables 0.835. Correlation test students' perceptions of teacher competence on learning outcomes obtained for at 0.513, then from the interpretation of the correlation coefficient is low and the contribution of student perception about teacher competence on learning outcomes is equal to 26.31%.
