Abstract

This research is based on the problems were communication between teachers and students of class VII SMP Negeri 15 Padang tend to make students to be passive listener. Therefore, to overcome this problem the efforts of researchers are applying the Active Learning Strategies Practice type-Rehearsal Pairs. Hypothesis is accepted that mathematics learning outcomes of students who are taught by applying the Active Learning Strategies Practice type-rehearsal Pairs better than the students who apply mathematics learning conventional teaching seventh grade students of SMPN 15 Padang.
