Abstract
This research was motivated by the low student learning outcomes in teaching civics, especially in the fourth grade at SDN No 07 Ekor Lubuk Kota padang Panjang.Tujuan research is to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in learning civics with Model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) in SDN No. 07 Ekor Lubuk Padang Panjang. The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. Based on the research results it can be seen that the average value of student learning outcomes in the cognitive achievement of students at the end of the test cycle of the average value of 56.25 in the first cycle increased to 70.18 in the second cycle, the completeness 71.43% (20 people) in cycle 1 to 92.86% (26 people) II.Hasil cycle students in the affective aspects, namely 73.21, in the first cycle increased to 78.34, in the second cycle. The final conclusion is that learning menggunakanmodel Civics Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can improve learning outcomes fourth grade students at SDN 07Ekor Lubuk Kota Padang Panjang.Oleh therefore, suggested to teachers in teaching civics model with Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can be used as a model of learning in primary school.
