INCREASING MOTIVATION AND LEARNING RESULTS MATHEMATIC USING REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION (RME) IN CLASS I SD NEGERI 20 KALUMBUK

Abstrak

This study aimed to describe the increase in motivation and learning outcomes of the math using the approach Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) in the first grade of SD Negeri 20 Kalumbuk Padang. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) conducted in two cycles. The research subject first-class students as many as 25 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet activities of teacher, student motivation questionnaire sheet and test student learning outcomes. Based on the analysis of the first cycle of student motivation sheet obtained an average 69.67% increase in cycle II became 79.29%. The percentage of completeness of students in the first cycle 64% increase in cycle II 76%. It can be concluded study of mathematics by using Mathematic Education Realistic approach can increase student motivation and learning outcomes. From the research, it can be suggested approach Realistic Mathematic Education can be used in other learning.
