A person’s language skills that are fostered from an early age will be valuable provisions for children to enter the next level of education. Good language skills will have a great influence on life in the wider community. The success of establishing communication with others is also influenced by a person’s mastery of language. Language skills in Indonesian include four aspects, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Situmorang (2018:166) states that writing is a process of producing graphic symbols and activities that produce ideas, thoughts, feelings, to readers through written language media. Based on the results of observations conducted on October 12, 2024 at SDN 03 Bukit Tambun Tulang, Pesisir Selatan Regency, class IV researchers got an idea that the skills of writing descriptive essays in class IV were still less than encouraging and did not receive a positive response from students, only a few students were active. In addition, the teacher's teaching method is one of the causes of many students' scores not reaching the Learning Objective Completion Criteria (KKTP) that has been set, namely 75. The study aims to describe the learning process and improve students' descriptive essay writing skills through the Field Trip method for class IV SDN 03 Bukit Tambun Tulang, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research is classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles, one cycle consisting of two meetings. The procedures in this study are planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting on actions. The subjects of the study were class IV students of SDN 03 Bukit Tambun Tulang, Pesisir Selatan Regency with a total of 20 students. The results of the study showed that in the observation of teacher activity in cycle I with a percentage of 69.63% and cycle II 82.14% increased by a percentage of 12.51%. From the results of observations of student activities in cycle I with a percentage of 62.49% and in cycle II with a percentage of 87.49% increased by 25%. While the average student learning outcomes in cycle I were 68.42 with a percentage of 55% and the average student learning outcomes in cycle II were 74.5 with a percentage of 85% increased by 30%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Field Trip method can improve writing skills and learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 03 Bukit Tambun Tulang, Pesisir Selatan Regency. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27452Improving Students' Reading Skills with the Take and Give Learning Model in Indonesian Language Subjects for Class IV SDN 41 Kapuh, Pesisir Selatan2025-03-21T05:21:05+00:00FHAZILLA FATHI NISAzillafathi10@gmail.comwirnita wirnitawirnita@bunghatta.ac.idThis study aims to improve the reading skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 41 Kapuh, Pesisir Selatan Regency, through the implementation of the Take and Give learning model. The background of this research is based on the low reading skills of students, as indicated by their lack of participation in learning activities, difficulties in understanding text content, and learning outcomes that have not met the competency standards. To address this issue, the study was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which consisted of two cycles. Each cycle included the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 20 fourth-grade students at SDN 41 Kapuh.. The findings indicate that the Take and Give model had a positive impact on students' reading skills. In the first cycle, teacher activity increased from 75.9% to 80.76%, while student activity improved from 62.5% to 75%, yet the student learning mastery rate was still 45%. After refining the strategy in the second cycle, teacher activity rose to 87%, student engagement reached 85%, and the student learning mastery rate increased significantly to 81.5%. These improvements demonstrate that the Take and Give model encourages active student participation and enhances reading comprehension. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Take and Give learning model is effective in improving the reading skills of fourth-grade students. This model not only helps students better understand texts but also creates a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment. Therefore, it is recommended as an innovative method for enhancing reading instruction in elementary schools.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27455The Effect of Problem Based Learning Model Assisted by Wordwall Quiz Media on Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Fifth Grade Students of SDN 37/III Koto Tuo Kerinciâ€2025-03-21T05:38:19+00:00Yona Anggita Habrinayona7302@gmail.comsusi Herawatisusiherawati@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 37/III Koto Tuo Kerinci and the lack of use of interactive media during learning. Mathematics learning still faces major challenges. Mathematics learning is often considered difficult and frightening by students, resulting in students' ability to understand abstract concepts in mathematics is still lacking. In addition, mathematics learning is still not related to real life, so students find it difficult to understand the direct benefits of the material being studied. As a result, many students lose interest in learning mathematics, especially because of the perception that mathematics is a difficult and frightening subject. Therefore, the application of an interesting, relevant and fun learning model is increasingly important to overcome this obstacle and help students achieve better understanding. From the results of observations, information was obtained through discussions between researchers and Mrs. Tri Pebrina as a teacher in class VB. She said that the low student learning outcomes were seen from the number of students who had not achieved the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP), especially in fraction material. Many students still have difficulty understanding basic concepts, so they tend to be confused when faced with more complex questions. Mrs. Tri Pebrina also added that the low level of student activity during learning is caused by the assumption that mathematics is difficult and boring, so students are less enthusiastic about learning. In addition, students are less trained to think critically and solve problems independently, which causes students to have difficulty in solving complex problems. According to Fadilah (2023:3), Learning media is a tool that can be used to help the learning process to be more effective and optimal. At this time the learning process is not only limited to books and blackboards, because currently there are many learning media that can be used by teachers. Learning media is everything that is a link between teachers and students in delivering learning materials according to Ramli (2018:5). Learning media includes all physical equipment and materials used by instructors, lecturers, teachers, tutors or other educators in carrying out learning and facilitating the achievement of learning objectives (Yaumi, 2017:5). Based on the problems that have been explained, the low student learning outcomes in mathematics learning are caused by the difficulty of students understanding the material, which is influenced by conventional methods and the minimal use of interactive media. In class VB, although the teacher has tried to apply the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and use visual media, student learning outcomes have not shown significant improvement. Meanwhile, in class VA, the PBL model has not been applied, so the teaching approach is still traditional. Teachers also do not provide enough space for students to think critically and have not maximized innovative learning media, so that students become less active and are not trained to solve problems independently. This problem shows the need for innovation in teaching methods that are more interesting and relevant to improve student understanding and learning outcomes. According to Apriyani (2021:1105) the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model begins with authentic (real) problems that are in accordance with the subject matter so that it can train students to think critically in solving a problem, and can foster students' skills in solving a problem, Ngalimun (in Apriyani 2021:1105) "PBL is a learning model that involves students to solve a problem through the stages of the scientific method so that students can learn knowledge related to the problem and at the same time have the skills to solve problems". This type of research is an experimental research, which based on the opinion of Sugiyono (2024: 111) states that "The experimental method is a quantitative research method used to determine the effect of independent variables (treatments) on dependent variables (outcomes) in controlled conditions". The reason for choosing experimental research is to test the positive effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model supported by the Quiz Wordwall media on student learning outcomes. By using an experimental group that applies the PBL model assisted by Quiz Wordwall and a control group that uses the Problem Based Learning Model, it can systematically compare the differences in learning outcomes resulting from the two treatments. This experimental study uses a "posttest-only control design" design. To prove the positive influence of the problem based learning model assisted by the quiz wordwall media, several stages of testing were carried out, namely, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. However, before conducting the hypothesis test and others, the final student test was first tested in elementary schools that had the same KKTP (Learning Objective Completion Criteria). In this study, a trial was conducted at SD 37/III Kubang Gedang. The data collection technique in this study used tests, in the form of objective questions and essays. Learning outcome data were obtained through the final test in the form of objectives and essays. Based on the final test, the results of the t-test were obtained with a significance level of 0.05 with a t count of 2.88 and a t table of 2.048, this means that t count> t table. So it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning Model assisted by the Quiz Wordwall Media has a Positive Influence on the Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Class V Students of SDN 37/III Koto Tuo Kerinci in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. Thus, the Problem Based Learning learning model is expected to be used in the learning process to provide a better influence on student learning outcomes. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27461“Improving High-Level Thinking Skills with Problem Based Learning Model Assisted by LKPD in Mathematics Learning of Grade V Students of SDN 27 Ladang Hutan2025-03-21T05:53:31+00:00Aidil Aksharaidilakshar@gmail.comAidil Aksharaidilakshar@gmail.comZulfa Amrinazulfaamrina@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low high-level thinking skills of fifth grade students in Mathematics learning at SDN 27 Ladang Hutan. Based on information obtained from the fifth grade homeroom teacher, Mrs. Devi Lolasari, S. Pd, Gr. it can be seen that students' ability to solve HOTS level C4-C6 questions is still very low. The fifth grade teacher B has made various efforts to address this problem. One of them is when the teacher explains the material during the learning process by relating the material to everyday life using the lecture method. In addition, the teacher also applies group learning. Although group learning has been implemented, students' thinking skills have not increased significantly. The type of research used by the researcher is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Classroom action research is an action on a learning process carried out by a teacher in his/her own class which aims to improve his/her performance as a teacher so that student learning outcomes increase. This Classroom Action Research is carried out using the cycle method. The cycle consists of four components, namely planning which contains the objectives or competencies that must be achieved and special treatments carried out by the teacher during the learning process; action, which is the treatment carried out by a teacher based on the planning that has been prepared; observation is carried out to collect information about the learning process carried out by the teacher, in accordance with the actions that have been prepared; and reflection, which is the activity of seeing various shortcomings carried out by the teacher during the action process. The results of the study showed that 1) the results of learning activities carried out by teachers increased from cycle I 80% to 91% in cycle II, 2) the average percentage of student learning outcomes in cycle I was 50% with an average value of 77.83 to 80% with an average value of 88.94 in cycle II. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there was an increase in learning activities carried out by teachers in cycle I 80% to 91% in cycle II. And there was an increase in learning outcomes in cycle I 50% to 87% in cycle II in learning Mathematics for grade V students through the Problem Based Learning learning model at SDN 27 Ladang Hutan, Baso District, Agam Regency. Based on the results of this study, the researcher suggests that teachers can use the Problem Based Learning model as an alternative in learning Mathematics.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27467“Improving Science Learning Outcomes of Grade III Students Through the Index Card Match Model at SDN 19 Tarung-tarung, Pasaman2025-03-21T06:09:16+00:00Sintia Nofelatianovela01@gmail.comErman Harermanhar@bunghatta.ac.idSDN 19 Tarung-tarung is a public elementary school located in Nagari Tarung-tarung, Rao Sub-district, Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra. The school operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and Culture. This research aims to investigate the improvement of science learning outcomes among third-grade students at SDN 19 Tarung-tarung. According to Sudjana (2017), learning is a conscious process that results in behavioral changes. Learning is essentially an interaction with the surrounding environment that leads to changes in individuals, which can be observed through cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Suprijono (2010) states that learning outcomes refer to patterns of actions, values, understandings, attitudes, appreciation, and skills that students acquire through the learning process. Istarani (2019) describes the Index Card Match learning model as an instructional approach involving the use of cards containing questions and answers, where students match pairs. This model, also known as “finding pairs,†is an engaging strategy often used to reinforce previously taught material. This research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, with 14 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques include observation, testing, and documentation. The research instruments consist of teacher observation sheets and learning outcome tests. Data analysis involves evaluating teacher activities, student learning outcomes, and calculating the average scores. The results from the first cycle showed that the percentage of students achieving mastery was 50%, with an average score of 72.28—falling short of the success criteria. After conducting a reflection and implementing improvements in the second cycle, the learning outcomes increased to 85.71%, with an average score of 78. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the Index Card Match model effectively enhances the science learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 19 Tarung-tarung.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27472Improving Students’ Beginning Reading Skills Through Problem Based Learning Model Assisted by Picture Word Card Media for Grade II Students of SDN 54 Anak Air Padang2025-03-21T06:39:06+00:00Aulia Syahrinandaauliasyahrinanda09@gmail.comwirnita wirnitawirnita@bunghatta.ac.idLower grade students usually tend to like to play and have fun when using interesting media and models. In essence, grade II students should already have beginning reading skills. However, in reality, this ability is still low due to several factors including (1) internal factors, namely low student awareness of the importance of beginning reading, so that their interest in reading is low; and (2) external factors, such as lack of support from the family environment, so that students are lazy to learn. conducted on November 11, 2024 in class II B in the Indonesian Language subject with class II B teacher Mrs. Wilda Yani Hernita, S. Pd, it was concluded that: 1) class II B students still have difficulty reading words, 2) many class II B students still have difficulty in reading the beginning, especially understanding the meaning of words, 3) students are still less focused in the teaching and learning process such as still not listening or listening to the teacher explaining the material. In addition, data was obtained regarding the low learning outcomes of students' Indonesian language. The low learning outcomes can be seen from the Mid-Semester Assessment (PTS). One way to improve students' interest and early reading skills is to use the Problem Based Learning model which emphasizes cooperation between students in achieving learning objectives. The Problem Based Learning model, for example, can make students more active and participate in the teaching and learning process because it involves cooperation in groups. This learning becomes more effective if assisted by appropriate learning media, such as picture card media. According to Shoimin (2016: 130) Problem Based Learning (PBL), is a learning model characterized by the presence of real problems as a context for students, learning critical thinking and problem-solving skills and gaining knowledge. The specific purpose of reading is to produce students who are fluent in activities or types of reading carried out such as reading or types of reading carried out such as beginning reading Hamifah, U. (2023: 21). Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting a study entitled "Improving Students' Early Reading Skills Through the Problem Based Learning Model Assisted by Picture Card Media in Class II Students of SDN 54 Anak Air Padang". This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) carried out by teachers in the classroom with the aim of improving the learning process through systematic and planned actions. Classroom Action Research (CAR) allows teachers to analyze and reflect on their teaching methods, then make changes aimed at improving student learning outcomes. Arikunto et al. (2017). Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model Assisted by Picture Word Card Media in Indonesian language learning for class II of SDN 54 Anak Air Padang can improve students' early reading skills. The results of the students' early reading ability test in two cycles showed that they had not achieved completeness in cycle I, namely 58.33% with an average of 66.25% and cycle II, namely 83.75%. Based on the results of observations, it can be seen that the average percentage of teacher activity in cycle 1 was 77.5% increasing to 93.75% in cycle II. On the observation sheet of student activities, the average percentage of cycle I was 78.84%, increasing to 90.38% in cycle II. The results of the research obtained by the researcher, it can be concluded that through the Problem Based Learning model Assisted by Picture Word Card Media, it can improve students' initial reading skills. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27482 Improving Narrative Writing Skills Using the Cooperative Spontaneous Type Group Discussion Model Assisted by Sequential Picture Media for Fourth GradeStudents at SDN 36 Gunung Sarik, Padang City2025-03-21T06:50:58+00:00EVA YULIANAevayuliana190702@gmail.comWirnita WirnitaWirnita@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low narrative writing skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 36 Gunung Sarik, Padang City. Indonesian language learning in elementary schools aims to equip students with communication skills, both oral and written. However, observations indicate that the teaching methods used are still predominantly passive, such as lectures, causing students to struggle with writing good narrative essays. Additionally, data shows low student achievement in Indonesian language learning, as seen from the results of mid-semester summative assessments. One way to improve students' narrative writing skills is by using the Cooperative Spontaneous Type Group Discussion model, which emphasizes student collaboration in achieving learning objectives. This model encourages students to be more active and think critically during group-based learning. The effectiveness of this learning approach increases when supported by appropriate learning media. In this study, sequential picture media was used as a supporting tool. The objectives of this study are to describe the learning process of writing narrative essays in fourth-grade students at SDN 36 Gunung Sarik, Padang City using the Cooperative Spontaneous Type Group Discussion model assisted by sequential picture media. To describe the improvement in students' writing skills through the application of the Cooperative Spontaneous Type Group Discussion model. Therefore, the researcher was interested in conducting a study titled "Improving Narrative Writing Skills Using the Cooperative Spontaneous Type Group Discussion Model Assisted by Sequential Picture Media for Fourth-Grade Students at SDN 36 Gunung Sarik, Padang City." This study employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, consisting of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 27 fourth-grade students from class IV.B at SDN 36 Gunung Sarik. Data were collected using teacher and student observation sheets as well as writing skill tests. The research findings indicate An increase in teacher activity from 75% in cycle I to 87.5% in cycle II. An increase in student activity from 69% in cycle I to 88% in cycle II. An improvement in students’ learning outcomes, where the average score in cycle I was 77.77, with 12 students not yet meeting the Learning Achievement Criteria (KKTP) of 80. In cycle II, the average score increased to 86.48, with only three students not meeting the KKTP. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Cooperative Spontaneous Type Group Discussion model assisted by sequential picture media is proven effective in improving students' narrative writing skills. This model encourages students to be more active in learning, enhances their creativity in writing, and significantly improves learning outcomes. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27503Development of Science Student Worksheets Based on Project Based Learning Model for Grade V Students of SDN 19 Tarung-tarung Pasaman 2025-03-21T07:38:59+00:00Rijali Ahmadrijaliahmad511@gmail.comSiska Angrenisiskaangreni@bunghatta.ac.idScience as a process is a way of working, a way of thinking and a way of solving a problem, which includes activities on how to collect data, connect one fact to another, interpret data and draw conclusions. The science learning process also emphasizes providing direct experience to develop competencies in order to explore and understand the natural environment scientifically. In learning at school, researchers have discovered education that does not use interesting project-based LKPD as an instrument to encourage teaching and learning activities in the classroom, but teachers only deliver more material without practicing and do not use teaching materials in the form of project-based LKPD. Based on this description, it is necessary to develop teaching materials in the form of project-based LKPD which are considered to be able to attract students. Project-based learning is one of the most effective models that engage students with their learning content (Bender 2012). Therefore, the researcher conducted a development research entitled "Development of Science Student Worksheets Based on the Project Based Learning Model for Grade V Students of SDN 19 Tarung-tarung, Pasaman Regency". This type of research is development research (R and D). According to Sugiyono (2018), R and D is a research method to produce products and test the effectiveness of certain products. Research using the 4D development model, namely, define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, this research was modified to 3D, namely, define, design, and develop. The LKPD that has been designed, is validated by a validator consisting of 3 lecturers from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Bung Hatta University. The practicality stage is carried out after the LKPD has been validated and is suitable for testing with the aim of determining the level of practicality of the LKPD that has been developed. Based on the data collection instruments used, namely the validation sheet and the practicality sheet. The results of the analysis on the validity test obtained an average value of 3.7 with a very valid category, on the practicality test by educators with a percentage of 97.2% and by students 97.2% with a very practical category. So it can be concluded that LKPD based on Project Based Learning is valid and practical. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27507The Effect of Teams Games Tournament Model Assisted by Educaplay Application on the Results of Mathematical Problem Solving Ability of Grade IV Students of SDN 01 Ulak Karang2025-03-21T07:54:22+00:00Diah Apriliaapriliadiah506@gmail.comRieke Alyusfitririekealyusfitri@bunghatta.ac.id Mathematics in elementary school education has many important benefits for students, one of which is that mathematics can help students solve problems in everyday life. In learning mathematics, problem-solving ability is a skill that must be possessed by students, especially in learning mathematics. However, in its application, students' problem-solving ability is still low. The low ability of students to solve mathematical problems in elementary school is caused by the lack of concepts given, in addition, many students who solve mathematical problems do not carry out the problem-solving process correctly. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of implementing the Teams Games Tournament model on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This type of research is experimental research, using quantitative data. Experimental research is a research method that focuses on examining the cause-and-effect relationship of a more thorough and accurate treatment, and has proper control as the subject of the study. This is in line with the research conducted by the researcher because there are two treatments that the researcher applies, namely the Effect of the Teams Games Tournament Model assisted by the Educaplay Application and the Effect of the guided group model on the results of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of the Teams Games Tournament learning model assisted by the Educaplay application to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities which can be seen from the significance value <0.05 with a significance level of 0.003. In addition, there was also a significant difference in the average results between the experimental class with an average of 72.21 and the control class with an average of 52.69. So the results of the analysis showed that there was an influence of the results of the problem-solving abilities of the class that was given the Teams Games Tournament learning model assisted by the Educaplay application compared to the class that was not given the treatment. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27606The Effect of Using Picture Media on Reading Ability of Third Grade Students of SDN 18 Kinal Pasaman Barat2025-03-23T17:30:56+00:00Gheresia Dita Rahmadani gresyaditarahmadani@gmail.comWirnita WirnitaWirnita@bunghatta.ac.idReading ability is a basic skill that is very important for elementary school students. However, the results of observations at SDN 18 Kinali Pasaman Barat showed that many third grade students still had difficulty in reading. Some of the contributing factors include low interest in reading, less innovative learning methods, and limited learning media used by teachers. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the use of picture media can improve students' reading ability. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample was all third grade students of SDN 18 Kinali (52 students), which were divided into an experimental class (using picture media in reading learning) and a control class (using conventional methods). Data were collected through pretest and posttest, and analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that image media had a significant effect on students' reading ability. Before treatment, the average pretest score of the experimental class was 44.81, while the control class was 67.11. After treatment, the average posttest score of the experimental class increased to 75.96, while the control class was 85.77. The results of the t-test showed that the t-value = 2.871 was greater than t-table = 2.009, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This means that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class, which proves that the use of image media has a positive effect on students' reading ability. The use of image media in reading learning can help students understand reading better, improve memory, and make the learning process more interesting. Therefore, it is recommended: For schools, it is expected to provide more image-based learning media so that teachers can use them optimally. For teachers, it is better to use image media more often in reading learning because it has been proven to improve student understanding. For students, it is expected to be more active in reading and utilizing image media as a tool in understanding reading. For further researchers, this study can be used as a reference to develop more innovative visual media-based learning strategies. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27608Analysis of Student Errors in Solving Flat Geometry Story Problems Based on Newman Procedures in Grade IV of SD Negeri 49 Payakumbuh2025-03-23T17:39:16+00:00Fauza Hamdafauzahamda.pyk@gmail.comSyafni Gustina Sarisyafnigustinasari@bunghatta.ac.idEducation is very important in life. According to Farida (2015:42) that mathematics is quite difficult to understand, because mathematics as a science is a tool for thinking to solve various practical problems which require analysis and a person's logical thinking. Planar shapes are one of the materials in mathematics learning in elementary schools. Planar shape material is very useful in everyday life, because problems in everyday life can also be solved by applying plane shape material. This study aims to describe the types of errors experienced by students in solving plane shape story problems based on the Newman procedure and to describe the factors that cause students to make mistakes. In this study, the method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The descriptive qualitative method is to obtain a general picture of things related to the mistakes made by students in working on mathematical story problems. The descriptive method is a systematic search method containing images, factual, accurate and about events at that time. This method is proposed to describe related to the errors made in solving story problems in mathematics. The results of this study obtained that the errors in solving flat shape story problems found were (1) subjects with high ability made errors in process skills and writing final answers (2) Subjects with moderate ability made errors in problem transformation, process skills and writing final answers (3) subjects with low ability made errors in understanding, transformation, process skills and writing final answers. The factors causing students to make errors are (1) lack of student ability in reading questions (2) forgetting to write down what is known and what is asked in the question (3) being less careful in writing formulas (4) not being able to input what is known into mathematical formulas (5) forgetting to write conclusions. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27609INCREASING THE LEARNING MOTIVATION OF CLASS STUDENTS VI ON PANCASILA EDUCATION LEARNINGBY USING THE REWARD METHOD AND PUNISHMENT AT SDN 55 AIR PACAH, PADANG CITY2025-03-23T17:44:50+00:00Fadhil Aditamaaditamaawo09@gmail.comAde Sri Madonaadesrimadona@bunghatta.ac.idPancasila education is a learning process to change behavior and mindset to equip students to find an answer to problems in their environment. This certainly has an impact on the learning implementation process so that students are less motivated in learning. The alternative solution to the above problem is the use of the reward and punishment method. According to Indrakusuma (2013:147), the definition of the reward method is as follows: Reward is a joyful thing for children, and can be a driver or motivation for learning for students. The type of research used in this study is class action research (PTK). According to (Arikunto 2017:1) "Class action research is research that explains the occurrence of cause and effect and treatment, as well as explaining what happens from treatment tactics to the impact of the treatment". The subject in this study is a grade VI student of SDN 55 Air Pacah Padang City. With a class of 25 students. The research instruments used were teacher observation sheets and student observation sheets. The results of the study revealed that the percentage of teacher activity in cycle II increased to 92.5%. The data on the results of motivation, desires and desires was successful with a percentage of 61% in the first cycle increasing to 80% in the second cycle. The results of data on motivation, encouragement, and learning needs of students in the first cycle with a percentage of 63%. In cycle II it increased to 85.5%. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the motivation to learn Pancasila Education for grade VI students using the reward and punishment learning method at SDN 55 Air Pacah can increase. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27611The Influence of Project Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model on Numeracy Ability of Grade III Students of SD Isla Khaira Ummah2025-03-23T17:50:40+00:00Lutfia Tri Zahroyuzaluna1234@gmail.comArlina Yuzaarlinayuza@bunghatta.ac.idEducation is one of the basic needs and must be obtained by every human being. Thus, education is one of the most important needs for a person, because with a good education a person can determine their future. According to Brubacher (in Shofia, 2022:1) education is a process of developing human potential, abilities and capacities that are easily influenced by habits Learning mathematics in elementary schools refers to a curriculum that emphasizes that learning mathematics must emphasize mastery of competencies obtained through a series of scientific processes. The purpose of learning mathematics in elementary school is that students must be able to solve problems systematically. The problems solved by elementary school students are related to real life and so that students can have good systematic abilities to be able to solve problems in everyday life. Sagala (2008: 61), defines mathematics learning as teaching students using educational principles and learning theories as the main determinants of educational success. Learning is a communication process, communication between teachers and students or vice versa, and students to students. Meanwhile, according to Ahmad Fauzan & Yerizon (2013: 8) mathematics learning is students being able to understand concepts and apply mathematical procedures in everyday life. The material on recognizing plane shapes is one of the materials in mathematics learning in elementary schools. The material on recognizing plane shapes is very useful in everyday life, because problems in everyday life can also be solved by applying the material on recognizing plane shapes. For example, in recognizing the shape of plane shapes. Therefore, numeracy skills in the material on recognizing plane shapes must be mastered by children since grade III. This will be a provision for them to learn to recognize plane shapes in the next higher class. However, in reality there are still many students who experience difficulties or mistakes in learning to recognize plane shapes, especially those in the form of descriptive questions. Therefore, it is important to apply a learning model so that students' numeracy skills increase in learning and students can solve math problems to explain and find the right solution. The type of research used by researchers is experimental research with a quantitative approach. Experimental research is a research activity to control, manipulate and observe research subjects. The experimental design used in this study is a quasi-experimental design. According to Lufri (2005:60) experimental research is research that conducts treatment (minapulation) on research variables (independent variables). In this study, two groups were used, namely the control class and the experimental class. In the experimental class, treatment was given in the form of a Project Based Learning learning model, while in the control class, a Conventional learning model was used. The results of the study can be concluded that the average value of the experimental class using the Project Based Learning learning model was 86.07. while the average value of the control class without using the Project Based Learning learning model was 82.58. Hypothesis testing using the t-test with a significance level of 0.05 shows that the results of the hypothesis test obtained 3.84 Because the significance value of 3.84> 1.67, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference or there is an influence of the use of the Project Based Learning learning model on the numeracy skills of grade III students of SD Islam Khaira Ummah. Thus, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Based on this, it shows that there is an influence of the Project Based Learning learning model on the numeracy skills of grade III students of SD Islam Khaira Ummah 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27614The Influence of the Problem-Based Learning Model on Motivation and Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Grade IV at SDN 145/III Pungut Mudik Kerinci2025-03-23T18:00:17+00:00Feby Novrianfebinovrian004@gmail.comZulfa Amrinazulfaamrina@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low learning outcomes caused by the lack of learning motivation, as seen from many students who have not achieved the Learning Achievement Criteria (KKTP), especially in mathematics learning. Many students still do not understand the material being taught. This causes students to become confused when faced with more challenging problems. The low learning outcomes are also caused by the students' lack of motivation, which can be seen from the lack of desire and drive to achieve success, the absence of expectations and aspirations that motivate them for the future, the lack of rewards received during the learning process, uninteresting lessons, and a learning environment that is not conducive. Students in Grade IV at SDN 145/III Pungut Mudik Kerinci have low motivation and learning outcomes. There is a lack of enthusiasm from the students during learning, they become easily bored, lack focus, and are not active during lessons. Students also show little response to the teacher's instructions in understanding the material, especially in Mathematics. The success of education can also be influenced by certain factors. One of these factors is learning motivation and the teacher’s preparedness in guiding students through the learning process. This research is a quantitative study. According to Sugiyono (2024: 15), the quantitative method is an investigative technique based on positivist philosophy, aimed at studying specific populations or samples, where data collection is carried out through study instruments, and data analysis is in the form of numbers/statistics, with the purpose of detailing and testing hypotheses formed earlier. This study aims to examine the impact of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in improving problem-solving abilities. This design has a control group, but it does not fully control external variables that may affect the course of the experiment. In this research, samples from both the control group and the experimental group are used. In the sample class, learning is conducted using the conventional model (lecturing), while in the experimental class, learning is conducted using the Problem-Based Learning model. After completing the material discussion, both classes are tested to assess the motivation and learning outcomes of the students after receiving different treatments from the teacher. The experimental design used in this study is the Posttest-Only Control Design. The results of the research show that the average learning motivation is higher in the experimental class (82.824) compared to the control class (76.400), with a tvalue of 4.3464 > t-table 1.6972. The learning outcomes are also higher in the experimental class (73.705) compared to the control class (67.733), with a t-value of 3.221 > t-table 1.6972. Therefore, H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that the motivation and learning outcomes of students who apply the PBL model in their learning are better than those who apply conventional learning methods in Grade IV at SDN 145/III Pungut Mudik Kerinci in the 2024/2025 academic year. Hence, the implementation of the PBL model is expected to improve the effectiveness of learning.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27616Implementation of the talking stick model assisted by wordwall media to improve mathematics learning outcomes for class I SDN 05 Timbulun2025-03-23T18:14:33+00:00Khairun Nisa Yusralkhairunnisayusral0408@gmail.comRieke Alyusfitririekealyusfitri@bunghatta.ac.idThis study aims to explore the effectiveness of the application of the "Talking Stick" learning model supported by the "Wordwall" media in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of grade I students at SDN 05 Timbulun. The background of this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes of students, which is a major concern for educators. The focus of this study is on class IA consisting of 20 students, where the method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) to observe teacher activities and measure student learning outcomes through tests. The type of research used by researchers is PTK (Classroom Action Research). According to Rustiyarso (2020:14) Classroom Action Research is a type of research conducted by teachers in the form of an action to improve the learning process and learning outcomes of students. The results of the study showed a significant increase in teacher activity, which increased from 69.4% in cycle I to 80.5% in cycle II. This increase indicates that teachers are more active and involved in the learning process, which has a positive impact on student interaction and involvement. In addition, the average student learning outcomes also increased, from 73% in cycle I to 82% in cycle II, indicating that students understand the material being taught better. The percentage of student completion also showed significant progress, increasing from 60% in cycle I to 85% in cycle II. This indicates that more students have achieved the set learning completion standards. This increase reflects the effectiveness of the "Talking Stick" model combined with the "Wordwall" media in creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the "Talking Stick" model with "Wordwall" media has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes in mathematics. Researchers recommend that teachers consider using this model as an alternative in mathematics learning to further improve student learning outcomes. In addition, suggestions are also given to teachers, students, and researchers regarding the application of this learning model in the future, in order to continue to improve the quality of education in schools. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a development model consisting of three main stages: define, design, and development (Sugiyono, 2017). This learning media is designed to help students understand science concepts in a more enjoyable and interactive way. The study results show that media validation by subject matter experts, media experts, and language experts achieved an average score of 0.85, which falls under the highly valid category. Content validation received a score of 0.81, categorized as highly valid, while language validation obtained a score of 0.97, also categorized as highly valid. In terms of appearance and functionality, media validation received a score of 0.77, which is considered valid. Additionally, from the practicality test results, the media was rated as highly practical by teachers, scoring 0.95, and by students, scoring 0.90, indicating that the media is easy to use in the learning process. Based on these findings, the snakes and ladders game media can be an effective alternative for science learning in fourth-grade students at SDN 35 Pagambiran. The use of this media not only increases students' learning interest but also makes learning more engaging and interactive (Arsyad, 2020). Therefore, educators are encouraged to utilize this media in teaching and further develop it to be applied to other subjects. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27620The Effect of Using Poster Media on Student Learning Outcomes in Science Subjects of Grade IV SDN 19 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman 2025-03-23T18:32:45+00:00Sasri Yulianita Yulianitasasriyulianita6@gmail.comRona Taula Sari Sarironataulasari@bunghatta.ac.idLearning of science learning above can be concluded that in essence science learning is a learning process consisting of 3 main elements. The three elements are products, scientific processes, and attitude cultivation. Science is not only knowledge about nature presented in the form of facts, concepts, principles or laws (science as a product), but also a way or method to know and understand natural phenomena (science as a scientific process) and efforts to cultivate scientific attitudes (science as an attitude). According to Susanti (2021), a poster is a depiction that is shown as a notification, warning, or appetizing which usually contains images. A poster is a visual combination of a strong design, with color, and role with the intention of capturing the attention of passers-by but long enough to instill the attention of passers-by but long enough to instill a meaningful idea in their memory. According to Sugiyono (2017), stated that the research design is not realistic and the results of the dependent variable are not only influenced by the independent variable. This can happen because there are no control variables and the sample is not selected randomly. This study used one experimental and control group. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SDN 19 Enam Lingkung Kaupaten Padang Pariaman who were registered in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. Based on the results of the final test data analysis, the average science learning outcomes of students in the experimental class were 80.3 and higher than the control class, which was 77.61. Other things can also be seen from the results of the normality test analysis, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. This normality test is intended to determine whether the data obtained is normal or not. The normality test in the experimental class and control class has L0 <Ltable. In the control class, L0 = 0.1456 and Ltable = 0.161 were obtained. while in the experimental class, L0 = 0.2228 0. and Ltable = 0.234 were obtained. This means that both sample classes are normally distributed. Furthermore, the homogeneity test analysis has homogeneous variance. Where Fcount <Ftable is obtained. Fcount = 1.184 and Ftable = 2.126. Meanwhile, in the hypothesis test, Tcount = 1.83 and Ttable = 1.68 were obtained. This means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. After conducting the hypothesis test, it was found that there were differences in learning outcomes of students who were given treatment using poster media in science learning. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27621Development of Pop-Up Book Learning Media for Material on Nets of Spatial Figures in Grade V of Elementary School 29 Sungai Nipah, Pesisir Selatan2025-03-23T18:48:23+00:00Rahmi Anisa ArlinAnnisameilia479@gmail.comRahmi Anisa ArlinAnnisameilia479@gmail.comRahmi Anisa Arlinrahmianisaarlin7@gmail.comIra Rahmayuni Jusarirarahmayunijusar@bunghatta.ac.idPop-Up Book aimed at the material of spatial nets in class V of SDN 29 Sungai Nipah, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4-D model, which consists of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, due to time constraints, this study only reached the development stage. The research process is divided into three main stages, namely definition, planning, and development. In the definition stage, the researcher determines the objectives and materials to be developed, namely spatial nets. The researcher conducts a needs analysis to understand the characteristics of students and the challenges faced in learning the material. This is important to ensure that the media developed can meet students' needs and help them understand the concepts taught. Furthermore, in the planning stage, the researcher designs Pop-Up Book learning media that are in accordance with the material that has been determined. In this design, the researcher considers the visual and interactivity aspects so that the media is attractive and can increase students' learning motivation. An attractive design is expected to make students more interested in learning and more easily understand the material being taught. In the development stage, the Pop-Up Book media that has been designed is produced and ready to be used in the learning process. This media is designed with various pop-up elements that depict the net of geometric shapes, so that students can see and understand the three-dimensional shape of the geometric shape more clearly. The development process also involves initial trials to obtain feedback from teachers and students regarding the media that has been created. This feedback is very important for making improvements and refinements to the media before it is widely used in learning. To assess the quality of the media developed, researchers used several assessment instruments. First, a validation sheet intended for material and design experts is used to assess the validity of the media. There are two types of validation sheets, namely for material and design experts, which are used to assess whether the content and design of the media are in accordance with the established standards. Second, a practicality sheet filled out by teachers and students is used to assess the practicality of the media that has been designed. This sheet contains questions regarding the ease of use of the media in the learning process. Third, a learning outcome test is conducted to measure students' mastery of the material after using the media. This test is conducted before and after using the media to obtain accurate data regarding the increase in student understanding. The results of the study showed that the developed Pop-Up Book media met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. At the validation stage, the media obtained an average value of 87.5%, which indicates that the media is very valid. The details of the validity values show that the material aspect received a value of 80% and the design aspect received a value of 95%. This shows that the media is not only in accordance with the content being taught, but also has an attractive and effective design. In addition, the media received an average value of 94.94% for practicality, which indicates that this media is very practical to use by teachers and students. Teachers feel that this media is easy to use in the learning process, and students feel interested and involved when using the media. In terms of effectiveness, the media shows an N-gain value of 0.71, which indicates a high level of effectiveness in improving learning outcomes 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27627Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes Using the Problem Based Learning Model with the Team Game Tournament Method for Class IV SDN 27 Ladang Hutan2025-03-23T22:15:08+00:00Annisa MeiliaAnnisameilia479@gmail.comZulfa Amrinazulfaamrina@bunghatta.ac.idEducation is important in all aspects of human life, including the development of a country. Quality education produces the next generation who are able to realize the development of a nation, and through the education process in elementary school, they develop their lives as individuals, members of society, and citizens, and can form the foundations of science. Education itself covers various fields, one of which is mathematics learning. Learning is a process of changing a person's personality where the change is in the form of improving the quality of behavior, such as increasing knowledge, skills, thinking power, understanding, attitudes, and various other abilities. However, according to W.S.Winkel in (Djamaluddin and Wardana, 2019:43), learning is a mental or psychological activity that takes place in active interaction with the environment that results in changes. Mathematics learning according to Lusianisita & Rahaju (2020:94), is the process of constructing students' understanding of facts, concepts, principles, and skills according to their abilities where the teacher delivers the material, students with their respective potentials construct their understanding of facts, concepts, principles, and skills and problem solving. In addition, the concept of mathematics is something that is very close and we often encounter it in our daily lives. Mathematics is one of the sciences that underlies human life. Since its inception, Mathematics has continued to develop dynamically along with the changing times. Development never stops because mathematics will continue to be needed in everyday life. Therefore, it is very important for us to learn mathematics itself. Mathematics is very important in school learning because mathematics is one of the means to study something logically and systematically. Therefore, it is very important for mathematics to be mastered as early as possible by students. However, there are still many students who do not master mathematics, including elementary school children. Because there are still many students who consider mathematics to be a boring and scary science. This attitude greatly affects student learning outcomes which are getting lower day by day. Based on observations and activities of the School Field Introduction (PLP) carried out by researchers on July 29 and October 26, 2024 in class IV SDN 27 Ladang Hutan, Baso District, researchers found several problems in learning, lack of student involvement in learning, many students still do not like mathematics subjects and the learning outcomes of class IV students of SDN 27 Ladang Hutan in mathematics subjects are not in accordance with the KKTP set by the school, which is 75. And students have not been given a problem related to everyday life so that the mindset in solving problems is less developed. Such as the learning applied is one-way, low learning outcomes and student activities, students are still less able to think critically, lack self- confidence, are unable to work together and are not disciplined in their duties. These problems greatly affect the quality of learning in the classroom, especially mathematics learning. Researchers also conducted interviews with the homeroom teacher IV, namely Mrs. Asnidarwati, S. Pd on Monday and Tuesday, November 4 and 5, 2024 at SDN 27 Ladang Hutan. From the interview results obtained information that in the learning process teachers have begun to apply the Problem Based Learning model but there has not been an effort to improve children's learning outcomes by implementing group learning and explaining the material during the learning process. Although the learning has been implemented, student learning outcomes are still low. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27629The Relationship Between Student Confidence and Science Learning Outcomes of Grade V Students of SD Islam Al-Azhar 32 Padang2025-03-23T22:23:45+00:00Aimul Fadhilahaimulfadhilah.07@gmail.comEnjoni EnjoniEnjoni@bunghatta.ac.idAl-Azhar Islamic Elementary School 32 Padang is one of the education with an elementary school level on Jalan Khatib Sulaiman No.86, Ulak Karang, North Padang District, Padang City. In carrying out its activities, Al-Azhar Islamic Elementary School 32 Padang is under the auspices of the Hatta Education Foundation. The purpose of this goal is to find out students' confidence in the learning outcomes of science class V of SD Islam Al- Azhar 32 Padang. Education is a basic need that must be possessed by every human being, because without education humans will not be able to improve their standard of living (Sukmawati, 2022). Education is expected to make humans more able to develop their potential. Education is a very important issue in life that cannot be separated, both in the life of the family, society, and in the life of the nation and state. The implementation of learning is carried out in real time, in accordance with the daily life of students which is summarized in the curriculum so that students understand science learning more really. According to Sholihah A (2021:95) said that with enough confidence, an individual will be able to actualize the potential he has confidently and steadily. High trust plays a very important role in making a meaningful contribution in a person's life process, because if an individual has confidence, there will be motivation in the individual to do many things in his life. Learning outcomes according to Suci Perwita Sari, et al. (2020:20) learning outcomes can be interpreted as the level of success of students in learning at school which is expressed in the scores obtained from the results of the test to know a certain number of subject matter. Learning outcomes are also evidence of the success that has been achieved by a student based on subjects. This research is included in quantitative research, this type of research is correlational research. This research was conducted to determine the level of relationship between two or more variables, without making changes, additions or manipulation of existing data. The methods used are questionnaires and questionnaires. Questionnaire or questionnaire is a data collection technique that is carried out by giving a set of questions or written questions to respondents to be answered (Sugiyono, 2017). Judging from the aspect of student confidence, based on the results of the study, there is a relationship between the confidence of introverted students to learning outcomes of 0.176 with a sig of 0.067 with a very low interpretation category. Likewise, extroverted students obtained results of 0.097 sig 0.318 with a very low interachievement category. From the research, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between students' confidence in the learning outcomes of grade V students of SD Islam Al-Azhar 32 Padang. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27631Improving Speaking Skills Using the Brainstorming Method in Grade IV MI NO 04/E.72, Koto Baru District, Sungai Penuh City2025-03-23T22:27:49+00:00Degia Artika Putridegiaartikap@gmail.comRio Rinaldiriorinaldi@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the need to improve students' speaking skills in Indonesian language learning at MI NO 04/E.72, Koto Baru District, Sungai Penuh City, which currently relies on the lecture method. This method results in a lack of student engagement and motivation during lessons. Observations indicate that students are less active, and summative assessments show significant differences in students' speaking skill outcomes. To address this issue, this study employs the brainstorming method, which is expected to enhance students' learning interest and improve their speaking skills by actively involving them in the learning process and allowing them to learn through direct experience. Speaking is one of the language skills used in daily life. It serves as a more effective communication tool and plays an important role in life. According to Tarigan, as cited in Hilaliyah (2017), "Speaking is the ability to produce articulated sounds or words to express, state, and convey thoughts, ideas, and feelings. Speaking is one of the productive oral language skills, meaning it is an ability that enables a person to communicate ideas, thoughts, or emotions so that the listener can understand them." Similarly, Hermawan (2013) states that "Speaking skills refer to the ability to produce articulated sounds or words to express thoughts in the form of ideas, opinions, desires, or feelings to a communication partner." Language plays a crucial role in developing human potential in various aspects of life because it functions not only as a communication tool but also as an effective medium for expressing diverse ideas. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) study. It consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study are fourth-grade students at MI NO 04/E.72, Koto Baru District, Sungai Penuh City. The research instruments include teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and student speaking skills tests. The results show that students' speaking skills activity in Cycle I achieved a score of 35% with an average of 76.4, which increased in Cycle II to 84% with an average of 84.4. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that using the Brainstorming method in Indonesian language learning helps improve the speaking skills of fourth-grade students at MI NO 04/E.72, Koto Baru District, Sungai Penuh City, in the 2024/2025 academic year. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27633Development of Snakes and Ladders Media Assisted by PBL to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Science Subjects in Class IV SDN 20 Dadok Tunggul Hitam Padang2025-03-23T22:35:29+00:00Zahratun Diinizahratundiini6@gmail.comAde Sri Madonaadesrimadona@bunghatta.ac.id In IPAS learning, various aspects are involved in achieving learning objectives, one of which is the use of instructional media. Additionally, the study aims to assess the implementation of the snakes and ladders media assisted by PBL in terms of its practicality and effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study, which focuses on developing an educational product. The instruments used include a validation questionnaire for the snakes and ladders media assessed by experts, a practicality questionnaire filled out by teachers and students of SDN 20 Dadok Tunggul Hitam Padang, and an effectiveness test measured through student learning outcomes. Based on the research analysis, the validity score obtained was 89%, meeting the criteria for being highly valid and suitable for use as a learning medium in elementary schools. The practicality score of the developed snakes and ladders media assisted by PBL was 94.16%, indicating that it is highly practical. Furthermore, the effectiveness score of student learning outcomes reached 78%, demonstrating that the media is effective for use in the IPAS learning process for fourth-grade students. This suggests that the snakes and ladders media assisted by PBL is highly valid, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes. One advantage of this media is that it is combined with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. According to Kristyanawati et al. (2019:2), PBL is a teaching strategy used by teachers to engage students in solving a particular problem.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27635Improving Problem Solving Ability in Mathematics Through Discovery Learning Model in Class VI of Muhammadiyah I Marapalam Elementary School2025-03-23T22:42:01+00:00Randi Ali Zamardirandializamardi@gmail.comSyafni Gustina Sarisyafnigustinasari@bunghatta.ac.id In the context of education, problem solving ability is one of the key competencies that students must have, especially in mathematics. This ability not only includes the ability to find solutions to given problems, but also involves analytical, creative, and critical thinking processes needed to understand and apply mathematical concepts in everyday life. The gap from the ideal condition is that problem-solving skills among students still vary. This study aims to describe the improvement of problem solving skills by using the discovery learning model in mathematics lessons for grade VI students of Muhammadiyah I Marapalam Elementary School. In this study using Classroom Action Research is research conducted in the classroom by teachers by emphasizing the improvement and refinement of the learning process as well as improving the process and practice of learning by Saputra. There are four stages involved in using classroom action research, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection. Planning is by planning learning tools that are specific to the class and school. The results of this study found that the use of the discovery learning model proved effective in improving problem solving skills in mathematics. This improvement can be seen from the percentage of teacher activities that have increased, where in cycle I it was obtained at 64% with criteria (Good), and increased to 97% in cycle II with criteria (Very Good). In addition, on the problem-solving ability test, there was a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the average value of students' problem solving ability only reached 51, which was in the sufficient category and in cycle II, the average value increased to 82, which indicated that students' problem solving ability was in the very good category. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27647Analysis of Prospective Teacher Teaching Modules Based on the Understanding by Design Approach2025-03-24T01:32:38+00:00Alsyifa Nauliaisyifanauli02@gmail.comSyukma Nettisyukmanetti@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low quality of learning. Meanwhile, the quality of learning heavily depends on the quality of lesson planning or the quality of teaching modules designed by teachers. This study aims to describe the extent to which teaching modules designed by prospective teachers align with the Understanding by Design (UbD) approach. The use of the Understanding by Design (UbD) approach in designing teaching modules has a significant impact on the quality of learning. According to Wiggins & McTighe (2005), UbD emphasizes designing learning that focuses on learning outcomes, starting with setting clear learning objectives, determining evidence of achievement, and designing meaningful learning experiences. Learning objectives must meet the ABCD criteria (Audience, Behavior, Condition, Degree) and SMART criteria (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timebound) to ensure clarity and measurability (Anggreaena et al., 2022). Learning assessments, which include assessment of learning, assessment for learning, and assessment as learning, play a crucial role in measuring students' understanding holistically (Anisah, 2022). The learning steps designed with the WHERE TO elements (Where is it going and why, Hook, Equip, Rethink, Evaluate, Tailored, Organized) help create relevant learning experiences (Wiggins & McTighe, 2005). The alignment between learning objectives, assessments, and learning steps is key to achieving learning effectiveness. Therefore, the UbD approach requires a deep understanding and consistent application by prospective teachers to ensure that the teaching modules designed can optimally support the achievement of learning objectives. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of this study are students of the PPG (Professional Teacher Education) program for prospective elementary school (PGSD) teachers, batch 2 of the 2024/2025 academic year at Bung Hatta University. The data collection technique used is observation. The results of the study show that there is a gap in the quality of teaching modules based on the Understanding by Design approach. This is evident from several prospective teachers, particularly in the low group, where 7 individuals showed less alignment with the Understanding by Design approach, 21 individuals in the moderate group showed sufficient alignment, and 5 individuals in the high group showed alignment with the Understanding by Design approach. Therefore, it can be concluded that the teaching modules designed by PPG students, prospective PGSD teachers, are not fully aligned with the Understanding by Design approach. This misalignment is often found in the design of learning assessments and learning steps.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27649Improving Learning Motivation and Speaking Skills Using the Discovery Learning Model in Class IV of SDN 158/III Sungai Abu, Air Hangat Timur District, Kerinci Regency2025-03-24T01:48:01+00:00Aditya Warmanwarmana276@gmail.comHasnul Fikrihasnulfikri@bunghatta.ac.idEducation is one of the most important things to determine and direct the future direction of one's life. Elementary school education is also the main foundation to strengthen the next level of education. This study was motivated by the low learning motivation and speaking skills of fourth grade students of SDN 158/III Sungai Abu, East Warm Water Subdistrict, Kerinci Regency in learning Indonesian language due to only applying conventional methods used by educators. According to Ruiyat et al, (2019), speaking skills are a process in which there is a form of verbal communication with the aim of conveying something. This study aims to improve students' learning motivation and speaking skills through the Discovery Learning model. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. According to Azizah (2021), PTK is research conducted in the classroom by teachers/researchers to determine the effects of actions applied to a study in the classroom. The subjects of this study were class IV students of SDN 158/III Sungai Abu, totalling 15 people. The research instruments included educator activity observation sheets, student observation sheets, learning motivation questionnaires, and speaking skill test sheets. While data collection techniques consist of oral tests, observation, questionnaires of learning motivation and documentation. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Based on the research data, it shows an increase in educator activities from 67.5% in cycle I to 80% in cycle II. Student activity increased from 56% in cycle I to 81.25% in cycle II. Learning motivation increased from 71.53 in cycle I to 78.60 in cycle II. Learners' speaking skills also increased from 66.09 in cycle I to 77.19 in cycle II. So that the learning motivation and speaking skills of students using the Discovery Learning model can be said to have increased from cycle I to cycle II. Thus, it is concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning model is proven to increase the learning motivation and speaking skills of fourth grade students of SDN 158/III Sungai Abu, East Warm Air Subdistrict, Kerinci Regency.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27788Improving Speaking Ability in Indonesian Language Learning with Student Facilitator and Explaining Model of Fifth Grade Students of SDN 06 Kampung Lapai, Padang City2025-03-24T07:10:45+00:00Elliza Nofri Yennyellizanofri@gmail.comYetty MorelentYettymorelent@bunghatta.ac.idSpeaking ability is one of the important aspects in learning Indonesian, especially in elementary school. In grade V, students are expected to be able to express ideas, opinions, and information clearly and precisely. However, in practice, there are still elementary school students who still have difficulty in developing their speaking skills. Several factors that can cause low speaking ability in elementary school students include lack of opportunities to practice speaking, minimal variation in learning models used by teachers, and lack of motivation and self-confidence in students speaking in front of the class. The low speaking ability of elementary school students can hinder their communication and social interaction processes which can affect their learning achievement at school, especially in Indonesian subjects. Based on the results of observations conducted at SDN 06 Kampung Lapai, data collection on the number of class Vc students on December 4, 2023. The data obtained amounted to 28 students, consisting of 13 males and 15 females. So far, many problems have been identified related to the limited speaking ability of students. The causal components are lack of fluency, shame, and fear of students' speaking abilities because there are still students who are less skilled in speaking. Based on theory of Yetty Morelent (2012), that speaking learnig is often ignored and not handled seriously so that many students are unable and do not dare to speak. One of the efforts that must be made is to determine the right method in implementing speaking teaching, so that speaking teaching is interesting, stimulating, varied, and creates interest in learning for students. Based on these problems, teachers should use learning models and media that attract students' attention and are able to increase students' interest and ability in speaking skills. One effort to improve elementary school students' speaking skills is to apply a learning model that is more student-centered and involves their active participation in the learning process. The Student Facilitator And Explaining (SFAE) model is one of the learning models that can be used to achieve these goals. The Student Facilitator And Explaining (SFAE) model is a learning model that provides students with the opportunity to act as facilitators and explainers of material to their classmates. By applying this model, students will be more active in the learning process, have the opportunity to practice speaking in front of the class, and increase their confidence in speaking. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which includes 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects of this study were 28 students of grade V SDN 06 Kampung Lapai. The research instruments used were teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and student learning outcome sheets. The percentage of teacher activity observations obtained in cycle I, which is 56.89% and increased in cycle II with a percentage obtained of 84.48% because in cycle II the researcher is more proficient in the learning model than in cycle I. The percentage of student activity observations in cycle I, which is 69.225% and increased in cycle II with a percentage obtained of 88.45% because students are more active in the learning process than in cycle I. The completeness of students' speaking ability in cycle I is 77.64% with an average learning outcome of 66.28% increasing to 82.972% in cycle II with an average learning outcome of 80.7%, due to students' speaking ability in pronunciation and literacy increasing during the learning process. This means that learning Indonesian using the Student Facilitator And Explaining model can improve the speaking ability of fifth grade students of SDN 06 Kampung Lapai. Thus, it is concluded that the Student Facilitator And Explaining learning model can be used to improve students' speaking ability.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27790The Effect of Problem Based Learning Model on Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes of Grade IV Students of State Elementary School 33 Sawahan, Padang City2025-03-24T07:17:46+00:00Dienda Putri Rahmayanidiendaputrirahmayani@gmail.comRisa Yulisnarisayulisna@bunghatta.ac.idndonesian language learning in the context of the Independent Curriculum invites educators and students to actively communicate with each other. Educators are no longer subjects, but act as facilitators. Indonesian language lessons in elementary schools are essentially teaching children to be able to communicate using Indonesian. Indonesian language learning in elementary schools is directed at improving students' ability to communicate in Indonesian both orally and in writing. Indonesian language learning has a focus on language skills and abilities which theoretically consist of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. These four aspects of language skills are the focal point of things that are always explored by students so that they are optimal. According to Adiilah & Haryanti (2023), the problem-based learning model is a learning model that presents problems so as to stimulate students to learn. In the classroom, students work together to form teams in groups to solve problems and find solutions to realworld problems. The type of research used is an experimental research type with a quantitative method. The population in this study were 41 students of grade IV SDN 33 Sawahan, 21 students of grade IVA and 20 students of grade IVC. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, namely samples were taken from certain factors, namely based on Summative value 2. The data collected were data on Indonesian language learning outcomes. The instrument used was a learning outcome test sheet consisting of 25 questions. The results of the study on the learning outcomes of students in Indonesian showed that the average learning outcomes of students in class IVC as an experimental class was 84.4 and in class IVA as a control class was 71.61. Hypothesis testing with the Independent Samples t test obtained a significance value of <0.05 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. which means that the learning outcomes of students who use the Problem Based Learning model are better than the learning outcomes of Indonesian students who use conventional learning models in class IV SDN 33 Sawahan Padang. It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model has an effect on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of grade IV students at SD Negeri 33 Sawahan, Padang City. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27799The Relationship of Learning Motivation to the Learning Outcomes of Fifth Grade Students in Science Subjects at SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang2025-03-24T07:51:40+00:00Elef Permata Saripermatasarielef@gmail.comRona Taula Sarironataulasari@bunghatta.ac.idScience learning (Natural Sciences) in general aims to develop knowledge, skills, scientific attitudes, and understanding of basic concepts about nature and the environment. Science learning emphasizes more on the scientific approach which involves five stages, namely (1) observing, (2) asking, (3) collecting information, (4) reasoning, (5) and communicating results. This helps students to be more active and independent in learning, so that they are able to understand science concepts as a whole. Meanwhile, science learning in elementary schools focuses more on developing students' understanding of basic science concepts and developing scientific thinking skills. Sugiyono (2018) stated that science learning in elementary schools is more about understanding science concepts if the material taught is related to their daily lives. In addition, motivation from teachers and from students themselves is also an important factor in improving students' science learning outcomes. According to Kompri (2022), motivation is a form of behavior that originates from within a person that encourages them to carry out an activity in order to achieve a goal. Meanwhile, according to Sobandi (2017), in terms of learning, students will succeed if they have the will to learn and the desire or drive to learn, because by increasing learning motivation, learning outcomes can increase. With the motivation of students to learn, there will be a willingness of students to follow the learning process which will have an impact on the learning outcomes obtained by the students. This is in line with Salsa's opinion (2022) that high motivation will have an impact on learning outcomes so that good learning outcomes are created. According to Sugiyono (2022), quantitative research can be interpreted as a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, which is used to research certain populations and samples. Quantitative research is to test existing theories or problems. The approach used by researchers in this study is correlation, namely to determine the level of closeness of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The subjects in this study were students in class VA, VB, VC of SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang, totaling 81 students. The results of the study can be seen in the correlation test which shows that the correlation coefficient of intrinsic motivation is 0.024 with sig 0.025> 0.21 and extrinsic motivation is 0.027 with sig 0.029> 0.21. This shows that the calculated r value> r table so that H11 and H12 are accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation on the learning outcomes of grade V students in science subjects at SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang. with the influence of the determination coefficient of the intrinsic motivation variable of 2.4% and the extrinsic motivation variable of 2.7% influencing the learning outcomes (Y) of grade V students in SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27803The Relationship Between Learning Interest and Science Learning Outcomes of Grade IV Students of SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang2025-03-24T08:12:24+00:00Ersa MayoraMayoraersa41@gmail.comAshabul Khairiashabulkhairi@bunghatta.ac.idNatural Sciences (IPA) is a science that studies natural phenomena in everyday life. IPA is a way for someone to find out about natural phenomena that can have an impact on life, where these natural phenomena can be natural learning for human life. This is explained by Junitasari & Heryanto (2024:2) through science learning, it allows students to better understand the natural processes that occur around them by studying the properties of objects in material form. . In everyday life, science is needed to meet human needs through solving identifiable problems. Science is one of the compulsory subjects in elementary schools that must be implemented so that students can have experiences related to real life to find a concept. Meanwhile, according to Suhelayanti (2023:13) natural science tries to encourage humans to always have the desire to increase their intelligence and understanding to explore nature and its contents. Interest plays an important role in human life to determine a desire through conscience. Interest education plays an important role in helping students achieve an achievement through their desire to gain knowledge. Therefore, if students have a high interest, they will provide good and maximum learning outcomes and vice versa. According to Yunitasar & Hanifah, (2020:8) interest in learning has indicators in it, namely feelings of interest, happiness, activity, high concentration, enthusiasm in learning, and students are comfortable following the learning process. Interest in learning is the freedom from the deepest heart to learn, get information, knowledge through effort, teaching or experience. This research is quantitative research, with a correlational approach. This research was conducted to determine the level of relationship between two variables X and variable Y, without making changes, additions or manipulations. The tool that will be used is a questionnaire. According to Sugiyono (2022:142) Questionnaire is a data collection technique carried out by giving a set of written questions or statements to respondents to answer. The subjects of this study were 109 students of grade IV of SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang in the Odd Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year. From the total number of 109 grade IV students, the number of populations in this study, therefore the author will limit the population of all students to 109 by calculating the sample size. then those who will be used as respondents can be calculated using the Slovin Formula or Slovin Formula, then the research sample is 86 students. The results of the study can be seen in the correlation test of learning interest of 0.024 with sig 0.83> 0.20 is in the low criteria with high significance. This shows that the calculated r value> r table so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between learning interest and the results of learning science in grade IV students of SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang. with the influence of the determination coefficient of learning interest of 2.4% contributing to the learning outcomes (Y) of grade IV students of SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27808The Effect of Problem Based Learning Model on Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Fourth Grade Students of SDN 032/XI Simpang Tiga Rawang Full River City2025-03-24T08:21:47+00:00Dwiana Saridwianasari66@gmail.comIra Rahmayuni Jusarirarahmayunijusar@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low learning outcomes caused by the lack of Learning motivation seen from many students who have not reached the Criteria for Achieving Learning Objectives (KKTP), especially in learning mathematics. Many students do not understand the material, which is given. This causes students to tend to be confused when faced with more challenging problems. The thing that causes low student learning outcomes is also caused by student learning motivation can be seen from the lack of desire and drive to achieve success, lack of motivating hopes and ideals for the future, no appreciation received in the learning process, interesting learning, and learning situations that are not conducive. Math is always considered difficult to learn, even considered scary by some students. Before this, they think math is difficult because it uses symbols and symbols that are interpreted by mathematical formulas. Students are less able to solve problems due to difficulties in learning mathematics. Students are more likely to memorize mathematical concepts and only take notes. Although they do not understand what they memorize and note down, students do not know how to solve mathematical problems with the concepts they memorize. Students' learning outcomes will have an impact on their math problem-solving abilities due to learning difficulties. The research conducted by researchers is quantitative research, Sugiyono (2024:15) states that the quantitative method is an investigative technique based on the philosophy of positivism, aims to study population groups or special examples, data collection is carried out through study tools, data analysis is in the form of numbers statistics, with the intention of detailing and testing previously formed hypotheses. This study aims to examine the impact of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving problem solving skills. This design has a control group, but is not fully able to control external variables that affect the course of the experiment. In this study, samples from control and experimental classes were used. In the sample class, learning was carried out with a conventional model (lecture), while in the experimental class, learning activities were carried out with the Problem Based Learning model. After finishing discussing the material, both classes were tested to assess students' motivation and learning outcomes after being given different treatments by the teacher. The experimental design used in this study was Posttet- Only Control Design. The results obtained showed that the average learning outcomes were higher in the experimental class 77.82 compared to the control class 57.75 with tcount = 11.84 > ttable = 2.057. Thus H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the motivation of Mathematics learning outcomes of students whose learning applies the PBL model is better than the learning outcomes that apply conventional learning of grade IV students of SDN 032/XI Simpang Tiga Rawang Kota Sungai Penuh Academic Year 2024/2025. Thus the application of the PBL model is expected to increase the effectiveness of learning. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27814The Relationship Between Students' Learning Styles and Science Learning Outcomes of Grade IV Sdn 33 Sawahan in the Independent Learning Curriculum.2025-03-24T08:42:11+00:00Lira Okvita Jelialiraokvita@gmail.comRona Taula Sarironataulasari@bunghatta.ac.idAccording to (Laksmi, 2024), science is essentially a product, process, and application. The essence of science as a product is a collection of research results that have been carried out by scientists and have formed concepts that have been studied as a result of empirical activities and analytical activities. The form of science as a product is facts, principles, laws, and science theories. Learning styles refer to an individual’s preference in how they receive and process information when learning. A learning style is a person’s unique method of absorbing, understanding, and processing information. Learning styles fall into three main categories: visual (through images or seeing), auditory (through hearing), and kinesthetic (through physical activity or hands-on practice). Visual learning styles rely on sight, making it easier for those who use this style to understand material through pictures, diagrams, graphs, or writing. Auditory learning styles focus on hearing, making it easier to understand material through verbal explanations, discussions, or listening to audio recordings. On the other hand, kinesthetic learning styles involve physical activity, such as movement, touching, or hands-on practice, making it easier for learners to understand material. The subjects in this study were students of class VA, VB, VC SDN 33 Sawahan Padang totaling 84 students. However, observations show that fourth-grade students at SDN 18 Kinali Pasaman Barat struggle with writing narrative texts. This issue arises due to the lecture method, which does not actively engage students, and the lack of instructional media use. Therefore, this study aims to determine the influence of using picture series media on students' narrative text writing skills in fourth grade at SDN 18 Kinali Pasaman Barat. This research is an experimental study with a quantitative approach using a quasiexperimental design. The study population consists of all fourth-grade students at SDN 18 Kinali Pasaman Barat, totaling 40 students. The total sampling technique was used, where the entire population was included as the sample, with class IV A as the experimental class and class IV B as the control class. Data collection techniques involved writing skill tests conducted before and after treatment (pretest and posttest). Data analysis utilized an independent t-test to test the research hypothesis. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' narrative writing skills after using picture series media. The average pretest score for the experimental class was 57.00, while the control class scored 62.25. After treatment, the posttest score in the experimental class increased to 87.25, whereas the control class only reached 63.25. The t-test results showed a significance value of 0.000, which is lower than 0.05, leading to the conclusion that the use of picture series media significantly influences the improvement of students' narrative text writing skills. This study demonstrates that using picture series media enhances students' writing skills by providing a more concrete representation and assisting them in structuring story ideas. Therefore, teachers are recommended to integrate picture series media into narrative text writing lessons to improve the quality of Indonesian language learning in elementary schools 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27817Implementation of Problem Based Learning Model with Drill Method in Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Grade III Students of SDN 27 Ladang Hutan2025-03-24T08:58:53+00:00Jumeldi Ariefarief.juni2001@gmail.comZulfa Amrinazulfaamrina@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of grade III students of SDN 27 Ladang Hutan in multiplication material, many students still have difficulty working on math problems on multiplication material, there are several factors that influence it, including many students who still do not understand the addition material so that they have difficulty in learning or working on multiplication problems, this is reinforced by practice activities that are not repeated or continuous so that students who do not understand will continue to not understand. students who have difficulty understanding learning because from the previous class there is material that they have not understood, in learning all learning activities are centered on textbooks, both material and exercises, students tend to still have difficulty mastering the material and some already understand but because practice is rarely held, many of the students forget how to work on the questions even though the material has been studied, this indicates that in class practice related to the material is rarely done and internal factors, namely students do not repeat learning at home so that when daily assessments or exams are held, students still get below average scores. It is also seen in learning that class teachers often discuss the core material without connecting it to the problems of students' daily lives. The application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the Drill method can improve mathematics learning outcomes in grade III students of SD N 27 Ladang Hutan, Agam Regency. This is evidenced by the percentage of final tests in cycle I and cycle II. In cycle I, 4 students completed the test with a KKTP of 70, a percentage of 50%. While in cycle II, 8 students completed the test, a percentage of 100%. And the percentage of teacher observations in cycle I and cycle II. In cycle I, teacher observations at meeting I were 87.5%, at meeting II 90.38% with an average percentage in cycle I of 88.94%. While in cycle II, teacher observations at meeting I were 94.64%, at meeting II 97.32% with an average percentage in cycle II of 95.98%. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27818Improving Learning Outcomes of Grade IV Students in Science Learning Through the Take and Give Model at SDN 90/III Pelompek, Gunung Tujuh District, Kerinci Regency2025-03-24T09:10:01+00:00Mutiara Aseskamutiaraazezka@gmail.comEnjoni EnjoniEnjoni@bunghatta.ac.idSDN 90/III Pelompek is one of the elementary school education in Pelompek Village, Gunung Tujuh District, Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province. In carrying out its activities, SDN 90/III Pelompek is under the auspices of the regional government of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. This study aims to determine the cognitive learning outcomes of the knowledge aspect of grade IV students in science learning at SDN 90/III Pelompek, Gunung Tujuh District, Kerinci Regency. According to Purwanto (Purwaningsih 2022: 423) learning outcomes can be explained by understanding the two words that form them, namely "results" and "learning". The definition of results (product) refers to an achievement due to an activity or process that results in a functional change in input. Production results are the results obtained due to the activity of changing materials (raw materials) into finished goods. Whether learning outcomes are good or bad depends on the individual students who learn and the teachers who teach, because learning outcomes are obtained from students who experience the learning process and the teachers who teach them. According to Slavin (Shoimin 2020: 195) The Take and Give learning model basically refers to constructivism, namely learning that can make students themselves active and build knowledge that will become their own. In this process, students check and adjust the new knowledge they learn with the framework of thinking they already have. Take and Give Learning is a learning process that tries to link new knowledge with the knowledge that students already have. The research used is the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects consisted of 17 students, the data collection technique used in this study used observation, written tests. The research instruments include teacher activity observation sheets, learning outcome tests, documentation. Data analysis techniques include teacher activities, learning outcomes. Judging from the percentage of teacher activity in cycle I, the average value was 70%. While in cycle II, the average percentage of teacher activity was 90%. This shows that teacher activity has increased in cycle II. The increase in student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of the knowledge aspect in science learning, cycle I obtained an average value of 68.6 with a completion percentage of 59%. This has not reached the target of the success indicator that has been set, which is 70%. After reflection in cycle II, the increase in student learning outcomes increased by an average of 83.5 with a completion percentage of 88%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that after using the take and give learning model at SDN 90/III Pelompek, Gunung Tujuh District, Kerinci Regency, there was an increase and it can be said to be successful, because it has reached the target of 70%. Observations at SDN 03 Alai Timur Padang indicate that many students lack interest in learning science, which affects their academic performance. This issue is caused by the frequent use of conventional teaching methods, limited teacher-student interaction, and a lack of engaging learning media (Purwanto, 2021). To address this problem, this study aims to examine the relationship between learning interest and science learning outcomes among fifthgrade students at SDN 03 Alai Timur Padang. The findings of this study are expected to provide insights for educators in improving the quality of science education. Learning is an activity to acquire knowledge and skills. According to Tampubolon (2017), interest is a combination of desire and willingness that can develop with motivation. Learning interest can influence student engagement in lessons, which in turn impacts their academic performance. Therefore, engaging and interactive teaching methods are essential to keep students highly motivated. Teachers play a crucial role in creating a conducive learning environment and implementing strategies that enhance students' interest in science subjects. Based on these findings, it is recommended that teachers and schools facilitate learning activities that foster student interest, particularly in science education. The use of more interactive teaching methods and engaging learning media can help increase students' interest in learning and ultimately improve their academic performance (Sudjono, 2016). By enhancing students' learning interest, it is hoped that they will be more motivated to study and achieve optimal learning outcomes. This study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The research population consists of all fifth-grade students at SDN 03 Alai Timur Padang, totaling 28 students. Data were collected through a learning interest questionnaire and documentation of students' academic performance. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation and simple linear regression tests. The results show a positive and significant relationship between learning interest and students' science learning outcomes, with a significant correlation coefficient. Students' learning interest falls into the moderate category (70.875%), while their academic performance is classified as excellent (90.25%). Regression analysis indicates that 70.5% of the variation in learning outcomes can be explained by students' learning interest, with a significance value of R² < 0.05 (Sugiyono, 2019). Thus, the higher the students' learning interest, the better their academic performance. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27820The Effect of Take and Give Type Cooperative Learning Model on the Ability to Understand Mathematical Concepts of Grade III Students of SDN 33 SAWAHAN, Padang City2025-03-24T09:19:53+00:00Wini Zilvianiwini53125@gmail.comArlina Yuzaarlinayuza@bunghatta.ac.idEducation is one of the basic needs and must be obtained by every human being. By obtaining education, humans can develop their potential so that they are able to face all forms of change due to technological advances. Therefore, in Indonesia, education is one of the human rights that must be fulfilled. This is stated in the 1945 Constitution, article 31 paragraph 1, which states "every citizen has the right to receive education". To implement this constitution, the government has created a 12-year compulsory education program, namely six years in elementary school, three years in junior high school and three years in high school. Mathematics aims to train students' ability to think logically, systematically and critically. This ability will be useful for Mathematics aims to train students' ability to think logically, systematically and critically. This ability will be useful for students in facing changes that occur in the ever-evolving world. Marfu'ah, et al. (2022:50) stated that one of the goals of learning mathematics is to improve thinking skills, where mathematical thinking skills are mental activities that form the core of thinking in the process of decision-making, and problem solving, where the three processes are interrelated. Nugroho, et al. (2019:21) also argue that through mathematics, students can practice logical, analytical, abstract and creative thinking. Mathematical measurement material is the process of assigning numbers to an object, property, attribute, or behavior. Measurement can also be interpreted as an activity to collect data quantitatively. The type of research conducted is experimental research using quantitative data analysis. Sugiano (2010:107) states that "experimental research can be interpreted as a research method used to find the effect of certain treatments on others in controlled conditions". In this study, two groups were used, namely the control class and the experimental class. In the experimental class, the treatment was given in the form of a cooperative learning model of the Take and Give type, while in the control class, the learning model commonly used by teachers was used. it can be concluded that the average value of the experimental class using the Take and Give Type model is 77. while the average value of the control class without using the Take and Give type model is 48.63. Hypothesis testing using the t-test with a significance level of 0.05 shows that the results of the hypothesis test obtained 0. Because the significance value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference or there is an influence of the use of the take and give type cooperative learning model on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of grade 3 students of SDN 33 Sawahan Padang. Thus, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Based on this, it shows that there is an influence of the Take and Give model on the learning outcomes of grade III students of SDN 33 Sawahan Padang City. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27821The Relationship Between Gadget Usage and Learning Concentration on the Learning Outcomes of IPAS Subject in 5th Grade Students at SD Negeri 15 Lansano, Pesisir Selatan Regency2025-03-24T09:23:39+00:00Hanin Fauziyahhaninfauziyah19@gmail.comRisa Yulisnarisayulisna@bunghatta.ac.idThe theory used in this study is the Pearson Product Moment Theory developed by Karl Pearson. This research is motivated by the low Indonesian language learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 10 Nan Balimo, Solok City, which is suspected to be related to their learning interest. Observations indicate that the learning process is still teacher-centered with conventional methods, making students less active and quickly bored. Additionally, the limited availability of textbooks and the minimal use of engaging learning media also contribute to the low interest of students in learning. This impacts the lack of student participation in discussions, low attention to the material, and ultimately affects their academic achievement. Based on these conditions, this research aims to analyze the relationship between learning interest and Indonesian language learning outcomes to provide insights for improving the quality of learning in elementary schools. Learning is a process of behavioral change through experience and interaction with the environment (Sahasulwane, 2014; Setiawan, 2017). Therefore, engaging and interactive learning is necessary for students to understand the material well. Indonesian language, as a compulsory subject, plays a crucial role in communication and critical thinking. Learning interest, as a psychological factor influencing learning outcomes, is affected by the relevance of the material to students' needs (Ariani, 2022; Kusumo, 2016; Syakur, 2017). Low interest directly impacts learning outcomes, which include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects (Erita, 2022; Yolanda et al., 2023). This quantitative research with a correlational method examines the relationship between learning interest and Indonesian language learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 10 Nan Balimo, Solok City, totaling 21 students. Sampling was done using nonprobability sampling with a saturated sample. Data were collected through a learning interest questionnaire and the learning outcomes scores of the saving material in the even semester of 2024/2025, analyzed using SPSS Version 27. The analysis results show that 29.37% of learning interest is in the very poor category, while 71.29% of learning outcomes are in the fair category. The correlation test yields a correlation coefficient of 0.917 (very strong), thus rejecting H0 and accepting H1, indicating a significant relationship between learning interest and Indonesian language learning outcomes of students. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27823Implementation of Problem Based Learning Model Assisted by Realia Media on the Learning Outcomes of Ipas Class IV of SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang2025-03-24T16:51:57+00:00Aisha Novianti Putriaishaputri960@gmail.comEnjoni EnjoniEnjoni@bunghatta.ac.idIn Elementary School Education there are several learning contents that are studied by students. In the independent curriculum, IPA and IPS do not stand alone but are combined into Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). In line with the opinion of Viqri et al (2024) IPA and IPS are now combined in one subject known as IPAS for elementary school level. Given that students at this level are at a simple, concrete, and comprehensive stage of thinking, they are able to see the world holistically and comprehensively. For an educator, it is important to develop the activeness of students in the learning process, this is related to how educators teach learning whether it makes students interested in the learning presented by the educator or even students are not interested in their learning. Problem based learning or problem-based learning is a learning model that accustoms students to solve problems and reflect on their experiences based on their previous knowledge, so that it is possible to develop thinking skills in solving meaningful, relevant and contextual problems. According to Siswanti & Indrajit (2022) Problem Based Learning is a learning model in which students are given complex everyday problems and do not have one correct answer. Realia media are real objects that are used as tools, materials and learning resources. Realia media are very valuable because they give children maximum opportunities to learn and carry out real tasks or situations. According to Amelia, Nurlina & Nur (2023) In addition, realia media has the advantage of changing abstract ideas or ideas into more concrete and easy to understand. Realia media is also suitable for application in science learning. The type of research used is an experimental research type, namely Quasi Experiment Design. According to Sugiyono (2017) Quasi Experimental Design is a design that has a control group, but cannot fully control external variables that affect the implementation of the experiment. Quasi experimental design is used because in reality it is difficult to get a control group used for research. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by Realia media is better than the conventional learning method. This can be seen from the average value of the experimental class being higher than the average value of the control class. The experimental class has an average of 80.92 with the highest value of 100 and the lowest value of 45. For the control class, it has an average of 71.48 with the highest value of 95 and the lowest value of 50 obtained by students. This can also be seen in the hypothesis test, from the results of the analysis obtained Tcount = 2.64 and Ttable = 1.67 where Tcount> Ttable means 2.64> 1.67. This means that the hypothesis in this study H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. After the hypothesis test was conducted, differences were obtained in the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by realia media with conventional learning on learning outcomes in the subject of science for grade IV students at SD Islam Khaira Ummah Padang. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27824Analysis of Grade V Teachers' Understanding of the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan Padang2025-03-24T16:57:07+00:00Neri Yanineriyani21@gmail.comYulfia Norayulfianora@bunghatta.ac.id The importance of education in the development and growth process of a country. Syahbana, et al. (2024:27-30) stated that "by involving education, the younger generation will gain the knowledge and skills needed in the future." The curriculum is a very important part of the education system that often does not get adequate attention. As the core of education, the curriculum needs to be evaluated innovatively, dynamically, and routinely following the times. The implementation of the independent curriculum is carried out to measure the success or failure of a curriculum according to the design with what happens in the classroom. The purpose of the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum is to Analyze the Understanding of Grade V Teachers towards the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan Padang to Find Out the Obstacles of Grade V Teachers to the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan Padang. In IPAS learning, various aspects are involved in achieving learning objectives, one of which is the use of instructional media. However, in reality, many schools still lack adequate use of learning media. A quality learning process requires supporting factors such as media that facilitate teaching and learning activities. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, namely obtaining a general description related to elementary school teachers' understanding of the implementation of the independent curriculum. Descriptive is the search for data regarding the correct interpretation to create a systematic, factual, and actual picture or description of a situation or event. The instruments used in this study were interview guide sheets and documentation. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that teachers' understanding of the implementation of the independent curriculum at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan Padang is quite good, teachers understand that this curriculum provides more freedom in designing learning according to students' needs. The independent curriculum emphasizes flexible learning, student-centered learning, and various methods such as project-based learning and discussion. The obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the independent curriculum include a lack of understanding of the concept, limited teaching materials, and a lack of adequate and ongoing training. According to Widyaningrum (2024), the results show that teachers' understanding of the implementation of the independent curriculum has a fairly good understanding. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27846Improving the Learning Outcomes of Science Students of Class V MIS Insan Cendekia Taratak Using the Snowball Throwing Model Assisted by Video Inspirational2025-03-25T01:45:36+00:00Ghira Mardatillaghiramardatilla2003@gmail.comHeri Effendiherieffendi@bunghatta.ac.idLearning is a process of interaction between students, educators, and learning resources in a learning environment to achieve certain goals. This process involves key components that interact with each other to create effective learning. Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) is a science that studies living things, inanimate objects, and their interactions in the universe, as well as human life as individuals and social beings. In general, science is a combination of knowledge that is arranged logically and systematically by taking into account cause and effect. This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the subject of science and science. Teachers have tried to improve learning outcomes by implementing a discussion system, which is expected to increase student participation and their learning outcomes. However, although some students can solve the questions well, there are still students who do not understand the material and tend to be passive, some even engage in irrelevant behavior such as playing or talking to friends. This shows that although teachers have made good efforts, the results are not optimal, and there is a need for more effective strategies or approaches to improve student understanding and participation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' cognitive and affective domains, with an average value of learning outcomes in cycle I of 73.47% and increasing to 86.52% in cycle II. In addition, teacher activity also increased, from 83.33% in cycle I to 96.65% in cycle II. Thus, the implementation of this model can be said to be successful because it achieved the desired improvement target. Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommends that teachers apply this learning model in science learning to improve student learning outcomes. In addition, further research can be conducted to explore the application of this model in other classes and subjects. Thus, it is expected that this model can be an effective alternative in improving the quality of learning in elementary schools, especially in science subjects. This study provides an important contribution to the development of innovative and effective learning models, as well as providing insight for educators in improving student learning outcomes in the classroom. Through the application of this model, it is expected that students will not only gain better science knowledge, but also develop important social and communication skills in the teaching and learning process. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27847The Influence of Project Based Learning Model Assisted by Pop-Up Book Media on Student Learning Outcomes in IPAS Subject for Grade V at SDN 01 Karang Selatan Padang2025-03-25T02:19:39+00:00Anggi Refiani refianianggi@gmail.comAde Sri Madonaadesrimadona@bunghatta.ac.id2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27850The Influence of Make A Match Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Fifth Grade Students in Pancasila Education at SDN 07 VII Koto Sungai Sarik Padang Pariaman2025-03-25T02:38:29+00:00Fatimah Rozarozafatimah099@gmail.comHendrizal Hendrizalhendrizal@bunghatta.ac.idPancasila Education can be described as lifelong students who have global capabilities and behave according to Pancasila values. They have six main characteristics: faith, devotion to God Almighty, noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical thinking, and creativity. According to Alfian and Setiawan (2024:1057), the aim of Pancasila Education is that Pancasila Education learning is expected to improve the ability to interact between individuals in the teaching and learning process, improve critical thinking skills, rational thinking, active participation, have a sense of mutual respect for each other, refer to creativity and independence according to the talents, interests and physical and psychological development of students, and have a sense of responsibility. To achieve these goals, an effective learning model is needed, one of which is Make A Match learning, which is cooperative learning that requires students to work in a team to solve problems, complete tasks, or do something for a common goal. The Make A Match learning model emphasizes that students must work together in the student knowledge model through Make A Match learning while playing. The Make A Match learning model can make it easier for students to understand learning and improve student learning outcomes. Based on this, the author conducted an experimental study in learning entitled "The Effect of the Make A Match Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Class V Students in Pancasila Education at SDN 07 VII Koto Sungai Sarik Padang Pariaman. Based on the results and discussions that have been presented, the following conclusions are drawn: The average cognitive learning outcomes of Pancasila Education of grade V students in the experimental class are 85.12 and the control class is 76.48. From the results of the final test, the average experimental class is higher than the control class. The use of learning media in the form of images attached to styrofoam, by using this media the teacher explains the learning material in front of the class. This results in students paying less attention to learning, because the styrofoam media used by the teacher has not been able to attract students' attention due to the small shape of the styrofoam, so that not all students can clearly see the material attached to the styrofoam, so students are less enthusiastic in the learning process. Based on these problems, researchers want to develop animated video learning media based on problem based learning. This study aims to develop animated video media that meet valid and practical criteria. Based on the validity questionnaire filled out by 3 lecturers, the average validity result was 89.8% with a very valid category, while the practicality value was 89.3% with a practical category. This means that animated video media based on problem based learning is suitable for use as a social science learning media in elementary schools. According to Wijaya (2022:27), the use of animated videos in learning can significantly improve student learning outcomes. In the Indonesian Language subject in elementary school, one of the language skills taught is reading. Children must be able to distinguish letters, pronounce the sounds of letters and words correctly, and move their eyes quickly to read the initial writing. Pronouncing the writing being read correctly, understanding the meaning of punctuation, and adjusting the voice with high and low according to the sounds spoken. According to Solchan T.W (in Hapsari 2019:12) initial reading is a reading ability that is prioritized at the basic level of reading ability, namely literacy. The meaning of literacy is that students can change and pronounce written sound symbols into meaningful sounds. The next ability is to improve reading skills at the discourse literacy stage. This stage is said to be the real ability stage because students are able to change written symbols into meaningful sounds accompanied by understanding. According to Khoridah, et al. (2019: 398), using the SAS (Structural Analytical Synthetic) method in early reading and writing learning in early grades is an alternative in helping or guiding students towards their own discovery, namely by using the help of teaching aids/media. Early language learning cannot be ignored, namely it should start at the age or early grades of elementary school. This learning is a strategic means as an initial step in gaining knowledge about words, and subsequent sentences can continue to develop in line with the growth and development of students' reasoning abilities. The type of research conducted by the researcher is a type of classroom action research (CAR). This research is conducted by teachers and aims to solve a problem that occurs in the classroom through several stages and measure the success of actions to overcome the problem. Classroom action research is a form of research that is carried out collaboratively. In implementing classroom action research, collaboration is required between practitioners (teachers, principals, students) and an understanding of a problem and the actions that will be taken to solve an existing problem. According to Arikunto (2020:1) Classroom Action Research (CAR) is a type of research that shows both the process and results carried out in the classroom to improve the quality of learning. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The results of the study showed that in the observation of teacher activities in cycle I with a percentage of 79% included in the good category and in cycle II there was an increase with a percentage of 87% included in the very good category. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average of 71 with a percentage of 46% and in cycle II an average of 82.34 with a percentage of 81%. Based on this study, it can be concluded that the SAS (Structural Analytical Synthetic) method can improve students' initial reading skills. According to Budiwati and Rini (2023:52), "Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) is a science that studies living things and inanimate objects in the universe and their interactions, and studies human life as individuals as well as social beings who interact with their environment." Elementary school teachers must have the ability to choose and apply the right learning model, especially in the context of learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). Choosing the right model is very important because it can affect how students understand and internalize the material being taught, a learning model that suits the characteristics and learning situations of students. One learning model that can have a positive influence on student learning outcomes is the problem-based learning model. According to Ngalimun (2016:117), "the problem-based learning model is a learning model that involves students to solve a problem through the stages of the scientific method so that students can learn knowledge related to the problem and at the same time have the skills to solve problems". According to Samsidah (2018:12), "Problem-based learning model or problem based learning is an approach that provides new knowledge to students to solve problems." Suryani, et al. (2018:4), states "Learning media is a tool in the teaching and learning process to stimulate the thoughts, feelings, attention and abilities or skills of learners so that they can encourage the learning process.". Meanwhile, according to Nora (2022:37) "Learning media is one of the components of learning. Learning media is anything used in learning activities that aims to stimulate students' thoughts, feelings, interests and attention so that the process of educational communication interaction between teachers (or media makers) and students can take place appropriately and effectively." One of the learning media that is considered to be able to meet students' learning needs and can improve student learning outcomes is the concept map learning media. According to Putra (2019:3), "a concept map is a graphic illustration concept that is connected to other concepts to make students' thinking structures simpler.". The type of research used is quantitative research with an experimental method. The population in this study were 50 students in grade IV of SD Negeri 04 Kampung Olo Padang, 25 students in grade IV A and 25 students in grade IV B. The sampling technique was simple random sampling, namely samples were taken from certain factors, namely based on the MidSemester Assessment score. The data collected were data on social science learning outcomes. The instrument used was a learning outcome test sheet consisting of 24 questions. The results of the study on students' social science learning outcomes showed that the average learning outcomes of students in grade IV A as the experimental class were 86.64 and in grade IV B as the control class were 79.52. Hypothesis testing with t-test using partial test obtained a significance value <0.05 with a significance level of 0.03 <0.05 which means that the learning outcomes of students who use the Problem Based Learning model assisted by concept map media are better than the learning outcomes of students who use conventional learning models in class IV of SD Negeri 04 Kampung Olo Padang. It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by concept map media has an effect on the learning outcomes of students in class IV of SD Negeri 04 Kampung Olo Padang.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27855Development of Problem Based Learning Based Digital Flipbook Science and Technology Learning Media in Class IV Elementary Schools2025-03-25T03:06:46+00:00Iftitah Rahmiiftitahrahmi773@gmail.comAde Sri Madonaadesrimadona@bunghatta.ac.idTo present content that can be understood by students, teachers generally use learning media as an intermediary. According to Mashuri (2019:4) learning media that stimulates students' thoughts, feelings, interests, and attention in addition to channeling lesson materials. According to several opinions of these experts, learning media is an intermediary tool used by teachers to teach students with the aim of facilitating their learning and achieving school learning goals. One application that can be used to create teaching media, especially digital-based ones, is a flipbook. According to Rahmawati, et al. (2022:118) Digital Flipbook is a digital book learning media that seems to be able to move when turning its pages. The purpose of this study is to develop a product in the form of a digital flipbook learning media that meets valid and practical criteria. In this study, researchers applied the research and development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model. The stages of developing digital flipbook science learning media, this study refers to the ADDIE model, consisting of five steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation Ashari, et al. (2023:26). The results of this study obtained an average validity result with a percentage of 90.11% while the average practicality result was 96.25%. This shows that the digital flipbook PBL-based science learning media on the material Indonesiaku kaya budaya is very practical to use as one of the sources or science teaching materials for grade IV Elementary School students. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27856Improving the Ability to Write Descriptive Texts Using the Example Non-Example Model Assisted by Picture Card Media in Indonesian Language Learning for Grade II Students of SDN 01 Sasak Ranah Pasisie, West Pasaman Regency2025-03-25T03:10:34+00:00Elin Yunita Rahmielinyunitarahmi27@gmail.comWirnita WirnitaWirnita@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low writing ability of students in class IIB SDN 01 Sasak Ranah Pasisie, West Pasaman Regency. This is caused by the following factors in the Indonesian language learning process: (1) students still pay less attention to teachers in learning. (2) Students have difficulty understanding the material on writing descriptions. (3) lack of student interest in writing, because students consider learning Indonesian to be easy and boring. (4) students still often ask teachers about things that must be written in describing objects around them. (5) lack of teacher variation in using methods or techniques in learning to write. The purpose of this study is to describe the learning process of descriptive writing skills through the Example Non-Example learning model assisted by picture card media in class II B SDN 01 Sasak Ranah Pasisie and to describe the increase in the value of learning outcomes in descriptive writing skills through the Example Non-Example model assisted by picture card media in class II B SDN 01 Sasak Ranah Pasisie One way to increase students' interest and ability in writing descriptions is to use the Example Non-Example model assisted by picture card media that emphasizes cooperation between students in achieving learning objectives. The Example No-Example learning model is a learning model that uses examples in the form of images in the learning process and can attract students to focus more on learning. Komalasari, (2010:61) stated that the Example Non-Example learning model is a learning model that teaches students about problems around them through analysis of examples in the form of pictures, photos. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Classroom action research is research that explains the cause and effect of treatment, while explaining what happens when treatment is given, and explaining the entire process from the beginning of treatment to the impact of the treatment. According to Pahleviannur (2022:3) CAR is a scientific activity carried out by teachers in their own classes by designing, implementing, observing, and reflecting on actions through several cycles collaboratively and participatively which aim to improve or enhance the quality of the learning process in the classroom. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that the Example Non Example model Assisted by Picture Card Media in Indonesian language learning for class IIB SDN 01 Sasak Ranah Pasisie can improve students' descriptive writing skills. The test results obtained in cycle I which was carried out in two meetings with an average of 64.7 with a percentage of 45% and cycle II was carried out in two meetings with an average result increasing to 78 with a student completion percentage of 80%. Based on the results of the observation, it can be seen that the average percentage of teacher activity in cycle I was 74% increasing to 80% in cycle II. On the student activity observation sheet, the average percentage of cycle I was 69% increasing to 79% in cycle II. The results of the research obtained by the researcher, it can be concluded that using the Example Non-Example model can improve students' descriptive writing skills in class IIB SDN 01 Sasak Ranah Pasisie 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27858Efforts to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Mathematics Learning Using the TGT Model with Dakon Game in Grade III of SDN 02 Koto Nan IV, Pesisir Selatan Regency2025-03-25T03:15:23+00:00Hanifah Muthmainnahhhanifah168@gmail.comZulfa Amrinazulfaamrina@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 02 Koto Nan IV in mathematics learning. This issue arises due to several factors in the mathematics learning process in the classroom, including the lack of learning media used by teachers, students’ lack of interest in mathematics, an unengaging learning process, and low student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement in third-grade students' learning outcomes using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model with the Dakon game. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The research instruments include an observation sheet for teacher activities and a test sheet for learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were 19 third-grade students at SDN 02 Koto Nan IV, Pesisir Selatan Regency. Mathematics is one of the compulsory subjects taught in elementary school. According to Hudoyo (2003:24), mathematics is a tool for developing thinking skills. Therefore, mathematics is essential both for daily life and for keeping up with advances in science and technology. Based on Harjoko's research (2013:2), there are two important elements in the learning process: the learning model and learning media. The learning model functions as a conceptual framework that designs the learning process in the classroom, covering planning, implementation, and evaluation. Meanwhile, learning media serve as supporting tools that influence the learning climate and conditions. The Dakon game can facilitate and help students understand learning concepts, especially in division material. This, in turn, helps improve students' learning outcomes. According to Wibowo (as cited in Kurniati, 2024:86), media play a crucial role and have a significant impact on creating an effective teaching and learning process. Through this game, students can perform calculations independently by engaging with the media, thereby supporting teachers in achieving more effective and efficient learning objectives. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Classroom Action Research is a study that describes the cause-and-effect relationship when a treatment is applied, explains what happens during the treatment, and outlines the entire process from the initial implementation to its impact. There are four stages in Classroom Action Research: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data presented in this study consist of the results of teacher activity observations and student learning outcome tests. Observations were conducted to assess improvements in the teaching process carried out by the teacher, while the learning outcome tests were used to measure the improvement in students' learning outcomes in mathematics. In this study, the researcher acted as the teacher, assisted by one observer, Mrs. Sesrinawati, S.E. (third-grade teacher). This study concludes that the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model with the Dakon game in mathematics learning for third-grade students at SDN 02 Koto Nan IV has led to an improvement in student learning outcomes. The assessment of the teacher activity observation sheet in Cycle I was 90%, which increased to 97.5% in Cycle II. As for student learning outcomes, the average score in Cycle I was 55.78, with a mastery percentage of 42.11% (8 students). In Cycle II, the average score increased to 83.15, with a mastery percentage of 78.94% (15 students). This indicates that the implementation of mathematics learning using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model with the Dakon game in third grade at SDN 02 Koto Nan IV, Pesisir Selatan Regency, was effective in improving student learning outcomes.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27861Improving the Learning Outcomes of Pancasila Education of Grade IV Students Through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model Assisted by Ispiring Suite Interactive Learning Media at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan2025-03-25T03:22:56+00:00Natasya YULIANAnatasyayuliana432@gmail.comDarwianis Darwianisdarwianis@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan in learning Pancasila Education. This is caused by the process of learning Pancasila education in the classroom, namely: Some students do not concentrate when the teacher explains the material because the location of the school is on the side of the highway, Teachers only use the media in the textbook, Teachers tend to end learning by giving assignments or exercises, the lack of learning media used and the lack of utilization of facilities provided by the school and the lack of early introduction of technology applied by teachers as educators. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement in learning outcomes of fourth grade students using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Ispiring Suite interactive media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The instruments of this study consisted of teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, student cooperation domain sheets, and learning outcome test sheets. The subjects of this study were 22 fourth grade students of SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan. According to Khasanah (2022:2) learning is a change in position or ability achieved by a person through activity. Changes in this position will be obtained directly from a person's natural growth process. Meanwhile, according to Lutfiandi (2019:1017) learning is a process of effort carried out by a person to obtain a new change in behavior as a whole, as a result of his own experience in interacting with his environment. According to Aulia (2021:190) Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a learning approach that uses problems in everyday life as a context for students to learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as to obtain from the subject matter. The learning model functions as a conceptual framework that designs the learning process in the classroom, including planning, implementation, and evaluation. Meanwhile, learning media functions as a tool that influences the climate and learning conditions. According to Arrosyida and Suprapto (2021:3) interactive learning media is anything related to software and hardware that can be used as an intermediary to convey the contents of the material from learning resources to learning with learning methods that can provide feedback to users from what has been inputted into the media. According to (Ariyanti et al., 2020:328), Ispiring Suite is software that makes PowerPoint more attractive and flash-based. Stating that media has an important role and a great influence in creating effective teaching and learning activities. Through this model, students can be more active in the learning process by using the PBL model assisted by Ispiring Suite interactive media, thus supporting teachers in achieving more effective and efficient learning goals This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Classroom Action Research is a study that describes the cause-and-effect relationship when a treatment is applied, explains what happens during the treatment, and outlines the entire process from the initial implementation to its impact. There are four stages in Classroom Action Research: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data presented in this study are the results of observations of teacher activities, student activity test sheets, student cooperation affective sheets and student learning outcome tests. Observations were carried out to see the improvement in the implementation of learning carried out by teachers, while learning outcome tests were used to see the improvement in student learning outcomes in mathematics learning. In this case, the researcher acted as a teacher assisted by onserver one Mrs. Yenny Triza Darnita, S.Pd (grade IV teacher) and Observer 2 Teguh Putri Tabir. This study can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Ispiring Suite interactive media in Pancasila Education learning in class IV SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan has increased student learning outcomes. Where the value of only 9 students (41%) mastered the Pancasila Education learning material, with the target of improving the learning outcomes of class IV students in the cognitive domain of understanding (C2) and affective cooperation (A2) in Pancasila education learning, namely by using the problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by Ispiring Suite interactive learning media. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings and one final cycle exam with 22 subjects, using the instrument of teacher and student activity observation sheets, affective assessment sheets of student cooperation skills and test results sheets. Based on the cognitive domain learning outcome test of students, in the first cycle it increased from 41% to 54.54% (up 13.54%), in the second cycle it increased from 54.54% to 95% (up 40.46%). Meanwhile, the results of students' affective domain learning, in the first cycle increased from 41% to 63.63% (up 22.63%), in the second cycle increased from 63.63% to 89.28% (up 25.65%). This shows that the learning of Pancasila Education for grade IV students can be improved by using the PBL model assisted by Ispiring Suite interactive media at SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27862Efektivitas Pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siwa Kelas IV di SD Negeri 02 Muaro Paiti Kecamatan Kapur IX2025-03-25T03:31:06+00:00Aufi Dalylaaufidalyla86215@gmail.comIra Rahmayuni Jusarirarahmayunijusar@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low mathematical problem-solving ability of fourthgrade students at SD Negeri 02 Muaro Paiti, Kapur IX District. Observations indicate that students still perceive mathematics as a difficult subject, lack practice in solving problem-based questions, and that the teaching methods used by teachers remain conventional, such as lectures and question-and-answer sessions. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in improving students' mathematical problem-solving skills. According to Freudenthal (1970), Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) emphasizes that mathematics should be connected to students' real-life experiences to make learning more meaningful. Ismunandar (2020) further states that RME helps students understand and solve problems using real-world contexts. Meanwhile, Polya (as cited in Yuwono et al., 2018) developed four stages of mathematical problem-solving: understanding the problem, devising a solution plan, executing the plan, and reviewing the solution. Additionally, Yuhani et al. (2018) assert that problem-solving is a process that trains students to systematically address various issues, while Albay (2019) emphasizes that problem-solving skills are crucial both in learning and in everyday life. This study is an experimental research using a Posttest-Only Control Design and employs Total Sampling on 32 fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 02 Muaro Paiti. Data were collected through tests, revealing that the average problem-solving ability score of the experimental class 83.41 was higher than that of the control class 76.52. The t-test showed a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05, proving that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach is more effective than the conventional model. Future research is recommended to use problem-based learning with real-life situations relevant to elementary students' experiences. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27866The Influence of the Realistic Mathematics Educations (RME) Approach Assisted by Counting Glasses on the Learning Outcomes of Grade IV Students of SD Negeri 01 Ulak Karang Selatan2025-03-25T03:34:46+00:00Sari Fatul Husnassari8565@gmail.comSusi Herawatisusiherawati@bunghatta.ac.idThe purpose of mathematics is for students to understand mathematical concepts and be able to explain the relationship between concepts and apply concepts or algorithms flexibly, accurately, efficiently and precisely. According to Anugraheni (in Andita & Taufina, 2020:542), Mathematics is a learning content that is very necessary and absolutely must be studied in formal schools, because with mathematics learning students are able to improve their reasoning skills and have a major influence on solving problems related to everyday life. One way to achieve this goal is to improve the quality of learning. In the teaching and learning process, teachers have tried to overcome these problems by implementing discussion, question and answer, and lecture methods. With the hope that students can understand the learning taught by the teacher. In addition, students are expected to be able to improve learning outcomes. The purpose of the efforts made by teachers is so that students' memories of the material that has been taught are more mature and students do not quickly forget the material that has been taught. However, the efforts made by the teacher have not yet achieved learning outcomes that are in accordance with the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP). An effective learning approach to be able to place students as the center of learning while providing a forum for socialization, then the learning that supports it is the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach. Anasrudin, et al. (2014: 1-18)) argue that the RME approach is an approach to learning mathematics that involves the reality and experience of students. In learning mathematics, students are required to be more active in finding and finding a problem, so that learning becomes centered on students (student centered). Through this RME approach, students can understand the relationship between mathematics and everyday life (real world life) and understand the general usefulness of mathematics for humans, through steps of providing contextual problems, solving problems in their own way, generating interactions, comparing and discussing answers, and concluding the results of the discussion. This type of research is Experimental Research. As explained in Sugiyono (2010:11) that the experimental research method is a research method used to find the effect of a particular treatment. The method used in this study is to reveal the impact of a treatment, namely the implementation of learning applied to the experimental group in Mathematics learning through the application of the RME approach and compared with the control group that carries out the same learning. The experiment conducted in this study is a posttest-only control design. Sugiyono (2010:1120) explains "in this design there are two groups, each group is selected randomly, the first group is given treatment called the experimental group and the group that is not given treatment is called the control. Based on the results of the research conducted by the researcher in the IVC class using the RME Approach Assisted by counting glass media in Mathematics subjects, the average score was 78.07. While in the IVD class using a conventional learning model without the help of the RME approach assisted by counting glass media with a sample size of 17 experimental classes and 19 control classes, seen in the hypothesis test using the SPSS series computer-assisted t-test, the results were 0.035. Because the significance value of 0.035 <0.05, the hypothesis H1 is accepted. From these data, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference or there is an influence of the realistic mathematics educations (rme) approach assisted by counting glass media on the learning outcomes of class IV students of SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan, Padang City. Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From these data, it can be seen that the RME approach Assisted by counting glass media has an effect on the learning outcomes of class IV students of SDN 01 Ulak Karang Selatan. 2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27892The Effect of Using Problem Based Learning Model Using Ice Breaking on Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Grade III Students of SDN 008/XI Kota Sungai Penuh2025-03-26T03:56:42+00:00Meci Watul Hariameciwhtlhri@gmail.comArlina Yuzaarlinayuza@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of grade III students of SDN 008/XI Kota Sungai Penuh and the lack of use of interactive media during learning. Therefore, the application of interesting, relevant and enjoyable learning models is increasingly important to overcome these obstacles and help students achieve better understanding. From the results of the researcher's observation with one of the teachers of class III A SDN 008/XI Kota Sungai Penuh, Mrs. Yarni Amir, S.Pd, it was obtained information that during the learning process, students did not listen to the teacher's explanation, and the lack of student activity in learning was still lacking, interaction between teachers and students, students with students rarely occurred during the learning process. Some students lacked the teacher's attention when explaining learning materials and during the learning process, students were also found to be chatting with their deskmates, so that when the teacher gave students the opportunity to ask questions, students did not use it properly, they only chose to be silent and when asked to do assignments, students only copied answers from friends without wanting to discuss with their friends to solve the problem. This shows that the interaction that takes place between students and students in the learning process is still lacking, when class discussions were held only a few students were active, some other students only acted as listeners and did not want to express their opinions. Based on the problems that have been explained, the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics learning are caused by the difficulty of students in understanding the material, which is influenced by conventional methods and the minimal use of interactive media. In class IIIA, although teachers have tried to apply the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and use visual media, student learning outcomes have not shown significant improvement. Meanwhile, in class IIIB. the PBL model has not been applied, so the teaching approach is still traditional. Teachers also provide less space for students to think critically and have not maximized innovative learning media, so that students become less active and are not trained to solve problems independently. This problem shows the need for innovation in teaching methods that are more interesting and relevant to improve student understanding and learning outcomes. According to Hosnan (2014:298) that "Problem Based Learning (PBL) is learning that uses real (authentic) problems that are unstructured and open as a context for students to develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills and at the same time build new knowledge. This type of research is an experimental research, which based on Sugiyono's opinion (2024:111) states that "The experimental method is a quantitative research method used to determine the effect of independent variables (treatments) on dependent variables (results) under controlled conditions". The reason for choosing experimental research is to test the positive effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model supported by Ice Breaking media on student learning outcomes. By using an experimental group that applies the PBL model using Ice Breaking and a control group using the Conventional Model, it can systematically compare the differences in learning outcomes resulting from the two treatments. This experimental study uses a "posttest-only control design" design. To prove the positive influence of the problem based learning model using Ice Breaking, several stages of testing were carried out, namely, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. However, before conducting hypothesis tests and others, the final student test was first tested in elementary schools that had the same KKTP (Learning Objective Completion Criteria). In this study, a trial was conducted at SD 036/XI Paling Serumpun.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27898The Relationship Between Gadget Usage and Learning Concentration on the Learning Outcomes of IPAS Subject in 5th Grade Students at SD Negeri 15 Lansano, Pesisir Selatan Regency2025-03-26T04:13:00+00:00Syerli Febriadinasyerlifebriadinaa@gmail.comYulfia Norayulfianora@bunghatta.ac.idThis research is motivated by the rapid development of science and technology, especially technology, which has an impact on the use of gadgets by students. Technology is the application of science to create tools, systems, or methods that help humans make work easier and increase efficiency in various fields. Technology covers various aspects, ranging from information technology, communication, education, health, to industry. In the context of education, technology is often used to improve the quality of learning, such as by using interactive learning media, e-learning, and other digital tools. (Irpana, Yulfia, and Pebriyani, 2013). Gadgets can provide benefits in learning, but also have negative impacts, such as decreased concentration in learning. Based on observations at SD Negeri 15 Lansano, Pesisir Selatan Regency, many students experience concentration disorders during learning, which have an impact on their learning outcomes, especially in science subjects. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between gadget use and learning concentration and its impact on student learning outcomes. The use of gadgets in learning has a complex impact on students' concentration and academic performance. According to Istiqomah (2019), gadgets can support access to information and creativity, but excessive use reduces learning focus. Marpaung (2018) added that uncontrolled gadget use can lead to addiction, concentration disorders, and academic decline. Concentration is a key factor in academic success as it affects information processing, concept comprehension, and memory retention (Susanti, 2024). According to cognitive theory, good focus facilitates understanding and memory retention (Riinawati, 2021). Learning outcomes, which refer to changes in students' knowledge, skills, or attitudes after learning (Muryani, 2024), highly depend on concentration levels. If concentration decreases due to excessive gadget use, academic performance is affected. Therefore, teacher and parental supervision is necessary to ensure that technology is used wisely to support effective learning. This study employs a descriptive quantitative research design with a correlational method. The population in this study consists of all fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 15 Lansano, Pesisir Selatan Regency, for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 20 students. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample, resulting in a sample size of 20 students. The research findings indicate that students' gadget usage is categorized as high, with a value of 95%, while learning concentration falls into the "poor" category, with a score of 64%, impacting learning outcomes, which are classified as "sufficient" with a score of 76.75%. Hypothesis testing revealed that Fcalculated > Ftable, with an Fcalculated value of 39.370 and an Ftable value of 3.592, leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1. A simple linear regression test resulted in an R² value of 0.822, indicating a significant relationship between gadget use and both concentration and learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that the higher the use of gadgets, the lower the students' learning concentration, which in turn affects their academic performance. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between gadget use, learning concentration, and students' IPAS learning outcomes at SD Negeri 15 Lansano, Pesisir Selatan Regency.2025-06-16T00:00:00+00:00Hak Cipta (c) 2025 https://ejurnal.bunghatta.ac.id/index.php/JFKIP/article/view/27998Implementation of the talking stick model assisted by wordwall media to improve mathematics learning outcomes for class I SDN 05 Timbulun2025-04-06T14:32:14+00:00Khairun Nisa Yusralkhairunnisayusral0408@gmail.comRieke Alyusfitririekealyusfitri@bunghatta.ac.idPENERAPAN MODEL TALKING STICK BERBANTUAN MEDIA WORDWALL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA KELAS I SDN 05 TIMBULUN Khairun Nisa Yusral1,Rieke Alyusfitri1 1Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Keguruan dan Imu Pendidikan Universitas Bung Hatta Email : khairunnisayusral0408@gmail.com ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika khususnya pada kelas IA di SDN 05 Timbulun.
