IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PERSEDIAAN UNTUK PRODUK YANG MENGALAMI DETERIORASI DENGAN KEBIJAKAN BACKORDER
Abstract
Inventory management is a problem in the inventory. This research was conducted at PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk associated with managing inventory for the product deteriorate namely vegetables. Vegetables deteriorate within 2-6 days. The method used in this research is the development of production-distribution model of integration for products deteriorate with backorder policy. In this research, combined with a comparison of the total cost of the policy and no policy backorder with the rate of deterioration was different. The last result of this research is combined the total cost backorder policy gives a total cost of higher inventory compared to a policy of zero backorder. In addition, the increasing rate of deterioration of the vegetables, the total combined cost will be higher.
