Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the value of electrical conductivity, hardness and tensile strength with hot molding process at 130oC,160oC with time 60,90 and 120 minutes, mold length 110 mm, width 63 mm, 12 mm thick and 50 kg / Cm2. PMC uses 150μm Graphite as filler and Epoxy / Hardener (hardener) as matrix. Graphite composition variations of 150μm and 75μm are 77.5%, 75%, 72.5% and 70% for the main filler and 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10% for the second filler. Then mixed using a mixer with time of 10 minutes at 200 rpm rotation then printed and pressed on hot press molding tool. In the test at the highest electrical conductivity value of 62,500 S.cm-1, the highest hardness test value is 96.3 HD and the highest tensile test value is 29.9 N / mm2.
