Abstract

In the industry engaged in coal mining hauling process is the main supporting component after excavation and loading process to be able to meet and increase productivity as expected. Based on the above conditions required appropriate conveyance means to transport coal. Belt conveyor is one of the right alternative to transport coal compared to dumptruck because it is more efficient and the effectiveness of work is higher and easier in operation. Before deciding the conveyor belt that will be used first, the design of Belt conveyor using software belt analyst 16 and through the calculation of analysis to transport coal. The transport capacity that can be produced using Belt conveyor design using software belt analyst 16 and calculation of this designed analysis has a carrying capacity of 1000 tons / hour. And safe power in this design has two comparison that is in planning using software belt analyst 16 power safe in planning of conveyor belt this is 71 kW, while based on calculation of safe power analysis at this conveyor belt planning is 79 kW.
