ABSTRACT

Sago waste (Metroxylon sp) is the waste generated from the processing sago, rich in carbohydrates and other organic material. In this research can be seen sago waste concentration of 9%, 11%, and 13% and the effect of the addition of yeast 5%, 7% and 9%. The highest levels of ethanol obtained 1,767% to 13% waste concentration and amount of yeast 7%.
