ABSTRACT

West Sumatera Quality Assurance Institution Building (LPMP SUMBAR) located in Jln.Professor Doktor Hamka No.1 UNP Air Tawar Complex Padang West Sumatra is a building that has 5 floors and added with 1 floor Dart which has 48 spaces contained within The building of West Sumatera LPMP building requires the installation of piping on a good fire hydrant and splinkler system. Therefore, planned installation of piping system in fire hydrant and splinkler in the building based on the applicable National Standard of Indonesia (SNI) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). The required water requirements when fire occurs are calculated based on the number of occupants, materials and floor area. Calculation of fire hydrant pipe and splinkler pipe dimension using hydraulic method and fire extinguisher system applied is fire hose, pillar hydrant and automatic splinkler.
