PEROLEHAN BIOBRIKET KULIT DURIAN DARI PROSES KARBONISASI PIROLISIS

ABSTRAK

 

Carbonization is a term for conversion of organic matter to charcoal through pyrolysis process. Pyrolisis is a process of heating up to a certain temperature and time in a condition without oxygen. The purpose of this research is to get the best carbonization temperature to charcoal. The variations are carbonization temperature 200 áµ’C, 300 áµ’C and 400 áµ’C. The best charcoal yield in 1 kg of biomass at carbonization temperature reached 400 áµ’C that is 440,1 gr, 510,12 gr and 621,81 on durian skin biomass, coconut shell and palm shell.
