Abstract

Development of research on composite matrix polymer (PMC) continues to be developed to obtain
the material (PMC) which has high stiffness and strength, light weight, corrosion resistance and high
conductivity value. This study aims to increase the value of high electrical conductivity, by the process of
hot molding process at temperature, 160oC with time 120 minutes, mold shape, Rectangle, Square, Circle
and 50 Kg.PMC uses 150μm Graphite as filler and Epoxy/Hardener (hardener) as a matrix.Graphite
Composition 150μm/Epoxy of 80/20 mixed using mixer with time 10 minute on lap 200 rpm then printed
and pressed on hot press molding tools.Of the various shapes and sizes, obtained a good electrical
conductivity value on the composition 80/20 with a heating time of 120 minutes with temperature 160oC for
electrical conductivity value of 57,692 Scm-1.
