Abstract

We can see today that the world's lack of world oil energy and environmental pollution caused by the burning of fossil
fuels to produce electrical energy has caused the effects of global warming to a very worrying level. Settlement of the
impact of global warming, one of them is by reducing the use of fossil fuel-based electric energy and increased
utilization of alternative energy. In this design the authors use dry waste such as rubber, wood, coconut shell, leaf,
and paper into alternative energy for steam power plant. In this design the authors designed the furnaces of
combustion, boilers, and steam turbines. The average calorific value of the waste to be used is 7095.45 cal / gr.
Pressure to be produced boiler 20 bar. Pressure that reaches the turbine after loss of flow in the pipe, elbow, slang,
and nozzle to 4.7 bar with turbine produced power that is 2.65 kWh.
