Abstract

The purpose of this experiment is to determine characteristic of rheology,the composite of candlenut eggshell powder
that is45μm< d<75μm and resin polyurethaneB (pu) with using taguchi method. In this research uses candlenut eggshell
powder as adhesive and polyurethanB (pu) as resin.for experimental to research with universal machine testing, that is
viscometer brookfield. This research has with making some comparison variation of polyurethanB (pu) and
candlenut eggshell powder getting the composition is (5%: 95%, 10%: 90%, 15%: 85%) with determinating time (10, 15,
20 minutes). For the result this experiment showed that viscosity range suggested according to taguchi with candlenut
powder size is 45< D< 75, it has got right in comparison composition polyurethane B 5% : 95%, with using mixing time is
15 minute, and speed rotation mixing is 100 rpm and thinner 15 ml. And viscosity range is 183,30 mPa.s
