The main function of packaging is to protect the product. Currently functions of packaging are not only for packaging products, but also  aesthetic value. One method that matches the current condition is a method of morphological chart and tree diagram. This method based on consumer desires through desirable alternatives has seven step, begin with clearifying objective, fungtion analisys, setting requirement, engineering caracteristic, generating alternative, evaluation alternative product and architecture product.. The research was conducted on the home industry Eni Catering. Object of this study is rendang product packaging. There is also analysis of the function to be developed that is material, aesthetic and practical. From the results, the development of alternative packaging designs rendang that will be developed are: Protect, a way of packaging, shape, color, easy to carry, easy to be stored. Alternatives have been developed and have been selected are expected to produce new packaging design that can increase the sales and hope traveller.
