Gambir is a dry extract of twigs and leaves of Uncaria Gambir Roxb plants. Includes the Rubiaceae family and smallholder plantation commodities. Gambir extract contains catechins as the main component and several other components such as kateku acid tanat, quercetin, red kateku, gambier flouresin, fat and wax (Noveri Rahmawat, et al).
