Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

 

Production of fuel oil was investigated by pyrolysis process using Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) and Polyethylene (PP) as raw materials. The highest yield of oil obtained was 70.33% and PP 88.86% at 400oC after 60 minutes operation time, respectively. The density and viscosity values of produced oils were in the range of density of gasoline, kerosene and diesel. The heating value was obtained at 45,200.82 J / gr and 45.160.01 J / gr for LDPE and PP, respectively.
