Pengukuran, Pemetaan Dan Pengendalian Tingkat Kebisingan Mesin Dan Peralatan Produksi (Studi Kasus PT. Abai Siat Raya)

Abstract

Noise is one of the factors that interfere with the comfort of the surrounding environment. In the production process PT. Abai Siat Raya uses a high intensity noise engine. This machine is spread over interrelated work stations, namely the rubber production process. The number of activities from PT. Abai Siat Raya and transportation activities can cause noise. This study aims to measure, map and conduct noise control efforts that occur at PT. Abai Siat Raya. There are 6 measurement points, namely the blower area, parking area, raw material area, hanging room area, generator area, and office area. Noise level measurement method was carried out based on KepMenLH no. 48 of 1996, regarding noise level quality standards using a sound level meter (SLM) measuring instrument. Of the 6 noise level measurement points at PT. Abai Siat Raya and mapping with the Surfer 10 program found the highest noise level occurred at point 1, Blower Area with a noise level of 105.13db. As well as carried out noise control efforts by way of engineering control, administrative as well as on recipients or workers. Based on observations and measurements, it is known that the source of noise occurs as a result of rubber production activities and public vehicle traffic.
