Abstract

There are two months of production that are outside the upper control limit, that is May with a proportion of 0.0093 and in December with a proportion of 0, 0085 in 2017. Processing is done using P-Chart. The cause of the defect is the lack of supervision of the roll forming machine Lack of care for fork lif, lack of air circulation in the work area, the operator is not careful and careful in working, the product buildup is too high, the result of the defect is obtained by using the Matrix Diagram method. Using 5 W + 1 H, a proposed improvement was made, that is the operators were more in control of the roll forming machine when it was operating, there was a schedule maintainance according to the established SOP, increasing air ventilation, conducting intensive assistance for operators, paying more attention to product buildup capacity. use SOP in the production floor section with the person in charge of the production head.
