Abstract

Modification of motor vehicles in Indonesia is often done, both car and motorcycle vehicle. Modifications made on a motorcycle is a modification on the Supra 100cc motor into a Supra 125cc motor. Supra 100cc motor with power that is not big enough and has a deficiency in the combustion chamber, such as compression ratio 9: 1 with less power and low power capacity, only generate maximum power 7.6 HP at 8000 rpm engine speed Maximum torque 0, 74 kgf.m / 6000 rpm. In the combustion chamber the cylinder capacity is increased to 125cc by using larger inlet valves and larger outgoing valves and larger piston diameters as well as longer strokes. Then offset by the use of a heavier crankshaft, the cylinder and tensioner 4 chains are minimized with friction capable of generating maximum power of 9.76 HP/7500 rpm and maximum torque of 1.03 kgf.m / 4000 rpm.
