ABSTRACT

Transmission system is a part of a power system that is very important for the process of power distribution (Power Plant) to the distribution channel of electricity (substation distribution) so that can be distributed up to the consumer electric users. In the transmission line we need to know the location of the disturbance in order to make the repair process. One method that can be used in the determination of the location of the disturbance is by using an impedance type spacing relation, which measures the impedance value along the transmission line that is disturbed in the High Gravity High Resistivity (SUTT) network system 150 kV GI Baloi - GI BatuBesar by searching the data conductor and transformer parameters. Calculation of setting release value applied to the circuit and analyzed, whether it can work properly and precisely. The result of the range impedance calculation according to the data of conductor cable obtained as follows; zone 1: (4.48688 + j6.264608) Ω, zone 2: (7.62352 + j10.644) Ω, zone 3: (16.81536 + j23.477) Ω.
