Abstract

At present the commonly used refrigerant type is R22, R22 brings the ozone layer depletion potential and global warming. This received great attention for international researchers so that an international agreement was born in 1987 known as the Montreal Protocol which regulates the limitation and reduction of gases that cause greenhouses (Green House Effect). From this agreement voiced if R22 must be eliminated and for Indonesia this refrigerant is restricted to use until 2030. Efforts are made to make R32 instead of R22. The purpose of this study is to find out the Coefficient of Performance and Energy Efficiency Ratio of R32. Therefore the vapor compression cooling machine is tested under normal conditions and by varying the rotational speed on the censor, the highest COP results are obtained at variations in round 3 (43.25 m / s) morning testing with a value of 4.2, and COP The lowest is obtained from testing the normal condition with a value of 3.35
