Abstract

In each storey building, it certainly requires power distribution and installation systems that are in accordance with existing needs and standards. For this reason, a system of electrical energy is needed that can be used economically to meet the needs of both inside and outside the building. The things that need to be considered are reliability, effectiveness, safety, system aesthetics and energy saving, which have been applied to the West Sumatra Regional Police building building. The West Sumatra Regional Police Building is one of the 20 kV medium voltage electricity customers with an input power of 1,110 kVA. Where the distribution of electricity in the West Sumatra Regional Police Building uses a radial system consisting of 2 distribution transformers 630 kVA and 2 LVMDP panels. The incoming voltage from cubikel will be lowered to a low voltage through a transformer which will be distributed to panels via NYY cables. From the results of the calculation analysis, the maximum voltage drop value from the calculation results is 4.3195% and the minimum voltage drop value is 0.0819%. While the total losses obtained were 92,952,821 W with Load factor (LF) of 0.65. By using DOC E-Desing by ABB software, the maximum voltage drop is 3.77% and the minimum voltage drop is 0.47%.
