Abstract

In an electric power system, the distribution transformer is inseparable. Distribution transformers have an important role in channeling 20 kV medium voltage power to low voltage 380/220 V for the needs of consumers. Excessive loading can aggravate a transformer because it is caused by heat, so that the transformer can operate properly with the expected time of 20 years, the installation and maintenance of the transformer must be in accordance with established standards. Estimated age of distribution transformers in Rayon Belanti, the average age is still normal, which is 20 years. In 2018 the biggest burden is on the DPR feeder, S. Parman.St  G 071 C substation with a load of 104.6% winding temperature 102.5 ℃ estimated life span in 24 hours is 42 hours and the remaining age is only 10.85 years. It is expected that the transformer installed on the substation can be replaced with 160 kVA so that the transformer can be prevented from damage.
