ESTIMASI BIAYA PENGGUNAAN ENERGI HIJAU PADA RUMAH KONSUMEN DENGAN SISTEM NET METERING

Abstract

Electric energy is a basic requirement of every human being. It is undeniable that until now the problems regarding the electricity resources are still ongoing. With the need for electricity consumption increasing. Considering that household needs are still sourced from PT PLN (Persero) which is increasing in price per kwh. For this reason, the role of innovation in one alternative energy that can be applied is innovation regarding solar cell technology with a net metering system. Based on household expenses 2200 VA the total power consumed by household consumers is 1,870 Watts (1.87 kW), obtained by the number of solar modules used 6 units arranged in 2 connected parallel circuits where one series consists of 3 units connected in series. The resulting DC voltage is changed using 1 phase inverter. The solar modules used are 6 units connected in series and parallel with a total voltage of 129.3 V total current of 16.24 A and a total power of 2,099,832 Wp, so for 8 hours the time the module is illuminated by the sun (08.00-16.00 WIB ) power produced with 90% efficiency, amounting to 15,120 Wh. The time needed by the customer to return the capital used when using net metering is 3.16 years (3 years, 1 month, 28 days).
