Abstract

Bark consists of several components that have benefits in each component. Where the components of bark consist of water content, extraction, lignin, ash, carbohydrates. This study aims to study and calculate the degree of digestion of enzymes in the bark of paper mill waste after removal of the extractive content they have by enzymatic methods. The degree of digestion of enzymes obtained for each bark were: deep skin pine (95.15%), outer skin pine (23.12%), deep skin spruce (94.96%), outer skin spruce (23.90 %), deep bark birch (88.89%), outer bark birch (45.52%), deep skin eucalyptus (53.94%), deep skin acacia (45.97%). Each each bark has a different degree of digestion of the enzyme.
