ABSTRACT

                    Ethanol, one of the alternative fuels that is intensively researched  recently. Ethanol can make through enzymatic and fermentationprocesses. Concentration of ethanol from distillation process limited until 96%.  Ethanol as alternative energy fuels has purity 99.5% ,so that it needs to be dehydrated. This research aimed to synthesis molecular sieve, zeolite 3A which is a molecule of material can only be passed by ethanol.  The result showed synthesized molecular sieve can increase purity ethanol from 96 % to 99.8 %.
