Abstract

Because the need factor is an ice factory system that is easily moved where it is operated and is relatively inexpensive, the design of this ice plant system uses a cooling tank as its operation and a production capacity of 2.5 tons per day.                    the evaporator is influenced by the total heat transfer coefficient and the temperature difference between the evaporation temperature of the refrigerant and the temperature of the substance being transferred heat. Calculation of the required surface area for heat dissipation in the condenser is influenced by the amount of heat that enters the system through the evaporator, the heat entering is proportional to the compression work on the compressor, the total heat transfer coefficient, and the condensation temperature difference of the refrigerant with the cooling media temperature. With the same refrigeration capacity but the heat input is proportional to the different compression work (depending on the type of refrigerant used), the surface area needed for heat dissipation is also different.
