Abstract

Production of fuel oil from plastic waste was studied using pyrolysis with addition of zeolite as catalyst. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of catalysts on fuel oil yield produced from the LDPE. The results indicated that the highest oil yield is 73.39%, at 400 ˚C with 30 minutes, the oil density equal to the value of kerosene density, the calorific value of oil is stretched between kerosene and gasoline, and the value of GCMS oil according to the petrol oil specification.
