RANCANGAN EKSTRAKTOR PENGISOLASIAN KATEKIN

Abstract

Gambir is a dry extract of twigs and leaves of Uncaria Gambir Roxb plants. Includes the Rubiaceae family and smallholder plantation commodities. Gambir extract contains catechins as the main component and several other components such as kateku acid tanat, quercetin, red kateku, gambier flouresin, fat and wax (Noveri Rahmawat, et al). The dimensions of the hot extractor tool, coil length = 977,8cm, diameter = 34,8cm, height = 67,2cm, elipsoidel cover = 8,7cm, tank thickness = 0,025861in with a capacity of 5kg. The dimensions of the cooling extractor, coil length = 125.62cm, diameter = 34.8cm, height = 69.7cm, tank thickness = 0.025861 in with a capacity of 5 kg. From the results of the tool performance test on sample 1 with 3 kg raw material of gambier which has been mashed, it is obtained% yield content of 28,19% and% of dirt content of 79,18%
