PENGARUH JENIS ADSORBEN ( ARANG KOMERSIAL,ARANG KAYU BAKU, ARANG CANGKANG SAWIT) TERHADAP KADAR KATEKIN DAN WARNA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PELARUT AIR

Abstract

Gambier is one of the export commodities of west sumatra. In gambier products there are impurities and various other additional inggredients used in producing gambier.Some of the components contained in gambier include catechins,tannic acids (tannins),flouresine,mucus ,fats and candles.get result and valuable Rahman.E.D et all (2017 has conducted research using catechin water solvents obtained >90%.Of the results of previous studies conducted by the method of prepurification,purifiation and using adsorbents to absorb the catechin media obtained 95,62%.mangrove wood adsorbent and the color produced by barley white, as well as the characteristics of the catechins obtained have moisture content and ash content that have met Indonesian National Standars 01-3391-2000 namely 14,5% and 5,49%.
